At a meeting of the Consistory of this church held on the 10 day of June 1833 a complaint was exhibited against Johnathon Benjamin and his wife for a continued neglect of the Public Worship of God and the ordinaus of Gods house the Consistory maturely considering the complaint – Resolved with the advise and consent of the church that the said Jonathon Benjamin and his wife be suspended from the enjoyment of Church privileges. Tunis Shew was received as a member of this Church in first communion by the Consistory. November 30th. At a meeting of the Consistory am church convened at the Lipion house to Elect two Elders to supply the places of N. S. Knapp and A. C. Lane whose office by the constitution this day becomes wanted – Also to Elect two Deacons to supply the place of Daniel P. Conover and Isaac Moffat whose affairs expire as above – Isaac Moffat and N. S. Knapp were elected Elders and Daniel P. Conover and Woodhill Helms were Elected Deacons. 1835 March 2nd. Isaac Moffet and Woodhill Helms ordained. March 31st. At a meeting of the Church N. S. Knapp was elected Elder. 1834 May 16th. A meeting of the Consistory was called for the purpose of reconciling certain difficulties existing between the Pastor – the consistary – and some members of the church wherefore it was agreed to call a meeting of the Great Consistory to meet on the 28th Inst. At 2 o'clock PM at the Consistory Room and with their advice and council endeavor to effect an adjustment of existing difficulties Mary 28th. The Consistory with the Great Consistory met agreeable to appointment – mutiny opened by prayer by the Rev. Wm. Salisbury – whom the various causes of grief were severally called up but no adjustment made and the meeting adjourned to the 4th of June at 2:0'clock PM and closed by prayer. June 4th. There being but two of the Consistory convened the meeting was dissolved after agreeing to call another meeting on the 10th of June at 2 o'clock PM. June 10th. A majority of the Consistory with some of the Great Consistory being convened and the existing cause of difficulty being severally called up but no adjustment being made of them it was agreed unanimously by the Pastor and Consistory to make a Joint application to the Clapis for his dissuasion from the pastoral charge of this church. Resolved. Also to call on the Rev. Paul Widman of Schoharie to meet with the Consistory of this church as soon as convenient and superintend the dismission of our Pastor agreeable to the rules and regulations of the Reformed Dutch Church in such cases made and provided. 1834 September 1st. At a meeting of the Consistory of this church it resolved to call on the Rev. Winslow Peijr of Gilboa to meet with the Consistory of this Church as soon as convenient and superintend the dismission of the Rev. Wm. Salisbury agreeable to the rules and regulation so f the Reformed Dutch Church in such cases made and provided. Wednesday, September 24th, a majority of the Consistory being convened by the appointment of the Rev. Winslow Peige agreeable to a resolution of the Consistory of the 1st Inst. – The meeting was opened with prayer by the Rev. Wm. Paige who was also appointed president of the meeting – The Rev. Wm. Salisbury being absent and not having been notified of the meeting – It was resolved to adjourn the meeting to Friday, the 28th Inst. At 2 O'clock PM The meeting was then closed with prayer by the Rev. Wm. Paige. Friday, Sept 28th. Consistory met pursuant to adjournment, meeting opened with prayer by Rev. Wm. Salisbury, and the abject of the meeting being called upon Rev. Wm. Salisbury refused to let the resolution of the Consistory of the 1nst Inst. Bee carried into effect and withdrew, his former offer or argument for dismission – wherefore it was resolved by the Consistory that the question of withdrawal together with other providings had on the case he referred to Clapis for their decision – meeting closed with prayer by the Rev. Wm. Paige. 1834 October 18th. At a meeting of the Consistory the Rev. Winslow Paige moderator – meeting opened by Prayer by the Rev. Wm. Salisbury – when it was mutually opened by the Rev. Wm. Salisbury and the Consistory that his pastorial communion with this Church should be dissolved and the Rev. W. Paige presented a writing previously prepared declaring the Pastorial election of the Rev. Wm. Salisbury with this church dissolved which was signed by N. S. Knapp, Isaac Moffat, Benjamin Frazer, Harman Moon as Elders and Woodhill Helms and Daniel P. Conover as Deacons. The Rev. Wm. Salisbury singed and approved the above writing of dismission. N. S. Knapp Elder was also appointed to attend the next meeting to beholden at Brukabun on the 2nd Tuesday of November next the meeting was then closed by prayer by the Rev. W. Paige. 1835 July 28th. At a meeting of the consistory of he Reformed Protest Dutch Church in Blenheim, for the purpose of appointing Elders and Deacons in said consistory, July 21, 1811. Members present. At a meeting of the consistory of the Reformed Dutch at Blenheim, January 15th, 1817, members present, Tunis Rappleya, David Peck and Cornelius Simonson as Elders. Henry Fellows, Moderator and Nathan Moffiat, scribe opened by prayer and Voted as follows: 1st that the consistory to meet on the last Tuesday in each month a such place as shall be appointed by them at the close of each meeting. 2nd that a meeting General of the Church be appointed an later day, the first day of February next at or near the meeting house and be given accordingly and after closing by prayer adjorned to meet again according to the above appointment. Nthan Moffat, Scribe. A meeting of the consistory of the Reformed Protest Dutch Church at Blenheim for the +++ as of appointing Elders & Deacons in said consistory on September 2, 1820. Members present: Windslow Paige, President. Tunis Rappleya, Francis Hindric, Johnathon Benjamen and Cornelius Simonson, Elders. The above named persons were ordained and took their seats this 3rd day of September 1820. At meeting of the consistory of the 16th of August 1821 at the meeting house in Blenheim it was voted that they will not administer Baptism to the infants of any but such as in charity they think are believers. At a meeting of the consistory held at the meeting house in Blenheim on the 11th day of December 1821 for the purpose of appointing two Elders and two Deacons in the room of alike member who seats have become vacant by time. Present: Winslow Paige, President. David Peck, Harmon Moon, Daniel Conover and Woodhull Helm as Elders. Christopher Simonson, Cornelius Simonson, Tunis Rappleya and Nathan Moffat as Deacons. Elders appointed Deacons. David Peck appointed Silas Knapp in the place of Moon whose seat became vacant. David W. Peck in the place of Christopher Simonson. Aaron C. Lane in the place of Cornelius Simonson who seats became vacant. January 20th, 1822 the above appointed members were ordained and took their seats accordingly. N. Moffat, clerk of consistory. Whereas the congregation of the Reformed Dutch Church in Blenheim being desirous of having Divine service performed and the consistory having it in contemplation to make a call in conjunction with two other congregations to the Rev. W. Paige of Florida. We the subscribers do therefore on conditions of the said Pages preaching in the Bleinheim meeting house one third Sabath of the time severally promise and agree to pay to the consistory of Said Church the sums lit appoint our respective names So Long as we shall continue to reside within the limits of the Said congregation.
