Doyle, of Middleburgh N.Y. Survivors include his wife, rose Pennecke Doyle; daughter, Geraldine Harders of Guilderland, N.Y.; two sons, Brian of Scotia, N.Y., and Thomas W. Jr. of Great Falls, Va.; brother, John Doyle of East Northport, L.I.; and six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Additional Comments: He served 28 years on the New York Police department and was also a deputy sheriff and a volunteer on the Task Force. He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church in Middleburgh and a member of St. Vincent de Paul in Wildwood. During World War II, he served with Gen. George Patton the invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He received the Purple Hearr, the Bronze Star with two Oak Clusters, American defense Service Medal and the European-African-Middle Eastern Service medal.
