Antis. In the name of god amen: Stephen H. Antis of the town of Seward in the County of Schoharie and State of New York of the age of 56 years and being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, in manner following. That is to say. First, I give and bequeath to my wife Thursey Antis and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Seward and County of Schoharie being the same premises that I now occupy together with all the (?) and appaurturences thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the premises above described and also all my real estate of every name and nature and also all my personal estate goods and chattels of what nature or kind soever to my said wife Thursey Antis for her, to use and control the same as I did in my life time. Second, I give and order that my wife Thursey Antis is to keep and support and find clothing and to keep in sickness and in health and provide all that is necessary for the support of Moriah Dumont as long as she shall live. Third, I give and devise order my wife Thursey Antis & I do direct Thursey my wife that all the rest, residue and remainder of my real estate and personal estate of every name and nature or kind whatsoever, to my said daughters, Martha McClesney and Margaret Antis, to be divided equally between them share and share alike, after the decease or death of my wife Thursey Antis, that may be left of my Estate after the support of Mariah Dumont. And lastly, I hereby appoint my wife Thursey Antis sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. I order my wife Thursey to pay all my legal debts and to collect all that may be due me. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven. his Stephen + H. Antis L.S. Mark The above instrument consisting of a little over one half sheet of paper was at the date thereof, signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Stephen H. Antis as for his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each of us and each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in presence of each other at his request. G. G. Hyons Residing at Seward. Allen Salsburgh Residing at Seward in the County of Schoharie. Schoharie County Surrogate Court} In the matter of proving the Will of} Stephen H. Antis late of the town of} Seward deceased_______________} Schoharie County Js. Gilbert G. Hyons of Seward in the County of Schoharie and Allen Salsburgh of Seward in the County of Schoharie being duly sworn in open court do depose and say that they are the subscribing witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Stephen H. Antis late of the town of Seward in the County of Schoharie deceased. That the said Stephen H. Antis did, in the presence of these deponents subscribe his name by making his mark at the end of the instrument which is now shown and exhibited to these deponents, And which purports to be the Last Will and Testament of the said Stephen H. Antis deceased and which Will bears date on the 14th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven. Deponents further say that the said Stephen H. Antis, the said Testor did at the time of subscribing his name by making his mark as aforesaid, at the end of said instrument, declare the said instrument so subscribed and now exhibited to be his Last Will and Testament. And these deponents did thereupon subscribe their names at the end of the said Will, as attesting witnesses thereto, at the request and in the presence of the said Testor and of each other. Deponents further say that at the said time when the said Testor subscribe his name to the said last Will as aforesaid, at the time of these deponents subscribing their names as attesting witnesses thereto, as aforesaid, the said Stephen H. Antis was of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute a Will of real estate, and was not under any restraint to the knowledge, information and belief of these deponents. And further these deponents say not. Sworn and subscribed this 12th day} of April 1877, before me } Chas. Holmes County Judge } I Charles Holmes County Judge of Schoharie County, do hereby certify, that the Last Will and Testament of Stephen H. Antis late of the town of Seward in the County of Schoharie deceased, of which the foregoing record is a true copy, was by me duly admitted to probate and recorded as a Will relating to both real and personal estate on the 12th day of April one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven. Which record, together with the foregoing record of the proofs and examinations taken before me in relation to the execution and validity thereof is here by signed and certified by me pursuant to the provisions of the revised statues of this state.
