I do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manners and form following that is to say- First I give and devise unto my beloved wife Charity the use, occupation and enjoyment of the farm commonly called the Simmons farm now owned by my brother Pardon & myself as tenants in common with the exceptions herein after mentioned to her my said wife during her widowhood and no longer and if my said Widdow should again Marry then I order and direct my Executors herin after named to lease the said farm with the exceptions herein after mentioned to the best advantage and the rents & profits therefrom arising to apply to the support of my children. Item I give and bequeath also unto my beloved wife two Beds and bedding, my Silver spoons, six house chairs and a dining Table Item I give, devise and bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth during her natural life, the use, occupation and enjoyment of two apartment in the first story of the o__use on the farm before mentioned, that is tosay one of the southerly and one of the northerly rooms in the same, also five bushels of good wheat, ten bushels of corn, ten bushels of winter apples and ten bushels of Potatoes yearly and alsothe privilege of a part of the garden yearly and of keeping one pig on the premises yearly . Item I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved children, Harriet, Thomas, Gideon, Cornelius, Eliza and Susan all my estate both real and personal sha..(cut off) and share alike in equal proportions to them, their heirs and assigns forever excepting thereout the devises and bequests before mentioned and which said devise and bequest to my said children is to take effect in manner following that is to say my daughters, Harriot, Eliza and Susan shall receive their proportionable shares in this item mentioned when they repectively arrive to the age of twenty five years to be paid out of my personal estate, but if my said wife shall again marry then it is my will and desire and I do order direct that each of my said children shall receive their shares & proportions as they respectively arrive to the full age of twenty one years . Item It is my ardent wish and desire that my Brother Pardon who owns the undivided on half of the said Simmons-farm should sell and convey the same to my executors herein after named for the benefit of my said children and in case he do consent to sell and the price can be agreed upon, I do authorize, impower & direct my executors herein after named to purchase the same and to pay him, the consideration of the sale out of my personal estate. Item It is my wish and desire and I do hereby authorize and direct my said executors to dispose of and sell all my personal estate which they in their discretion may think proper to be sold and the money arising therfrom, together with all the monies, which are now due ore hereafter may fall due to my estate after deducting the consideration money to be paid on the purchase to be made if the same can be effected to loan the residue upon good securities and the interest therefrom arising to pay annually to my beloved with Charity during her widowhood for the support, maintinance and education of herself and my said children. And I do hereby appoint Peter Swart and Jacob Gethard (esquire) my Executors of this my last will and testament and in case of the death of either of my said executors I do appoint John Ingolds Esquire to be substituted in his place an executor of this my last will and testament, And in case of the death of both of my said executors then I do also appoint Jabez W Throop Esquire in the place of the last executor so dying an executor of this my last will and testament.
