I, John Warner of the town and county of Schoharie, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be almighty God for the same, do make and publish this, my last will and testament in manner and form following viz. First, I give and devise to my two sons Peter and John their heirs and assigns, all my farm situate lying and being in the east part of the town of Schoharie to be by them equally divided after my death. and give and devise to my oldest daughter Elizabeth, one cow, two sheep and ten dollars in money. My second Eve Warner, one cow, two sheep and eight dollars - And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my said son Peter Warner and Peter P. Germond my sole executors of this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of May in the year of our lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty two. Be it remembered that on the twenty second day of September in the year of our Lord on thousand eight hundred and twenty six, personally appeared before me, William Mann, Surrogate of the county of Schoharie aforesaid, Rensseler Germond, one of the subscribing witnesses to the will of John Warner, late of the town of Schoharie in said county, deceased, who being duly sworn declared that he did see the said John Warner, deceased, seal and execute the instrument hereunto annexed and impressed with the seal of office of the said Surrogate. Which said instrument purports to be the last will and testament of the said John Warner, deceased, bearing date, the twenty fifth day of may in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty two. That he heard him, the said John Warner declare the same as and for his last Will and Testament. That at his time there, the said John was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best knowledge and belief of him. The said Rensseler Germond said that he together with David Helsinger and Peter P. Germond the other witnesses to the said will, did severally subscribe their names there to as witnesses in the presence of the testator and of each other.
