All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.org/ny/nyfiles.htm *********************************************************************** Transcribed from SAMPUBCO photocopy Schoharie co NY Will Book Vol. U page 138 Last Will and Testament of Francis Dominick In the name of God, Amen: I Francis Dominick of the town of Wright in the County of Schoharie and State of New York of the age of Eighty years and being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish, and declare this my last will and testament, in manner following that is to say First I give and bequeath to my wife Christina Dominick all my household furniture of every description: to my two daughters Catharine wife of William I. Becker and Sophia wife of David Weidman all my Notes, Bonds and Mortgages debts monies and accounts due me after paying my lawful debts and Burial Charges, they each to have equal amounts share and share alike of the above named monies, the above named voucher to be assigned and delivered to them by my executors herein after named within six months after my decease, and they the said Catharine and Sophia to collect the same at their own Expence sharing equal and alike in the Expences for Collections. Also in addition to the above to my daughter Catharine wife of William I. Becker the sum of Three Hundred and fifty dollars, to be paid her by my daughter Christina wife of John Hunting as herein after stipulated. Also, in addition to the above to my daughter Sophia wife of David Weidman the sum of three Hundred and fifty dollars to be paid her by my daughter Delany wife of Isaac I. Barber as hereinafter stipulated. Second I give and devise to my daughter Christina wife of John Hunting her heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the town of Wright County and State aforesaid that part of my Lands both improved and timbered occupied by John Hunting at the date hereof according to a division of my land formerly made by me between John Hunting and Isaac I. Barber for them to improve and occupy separate from each other which is about one half of my original farm together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining: to have to hold the premises above described to the said Christina her heirs and assigns forever, but subjecting the aforesaid Christina wife of John Hunting to pay unto my daughter Catharine wife of William I. Becker the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars one year from the date of my decease for which payment I make the same a lien on the aforesaid premises. To my daughter Delany wife of Isaac I. Barber her heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the town of Wright County and State aforesaid that part of my Lands improved and timbered occupied by Isaac I. Barber at the date hereof according to a division of my land made by me between Isaac I. Barber and John Hunting for them to improve and occupy separate from each other which is about one half of my original farm together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have to hold the premises above described to the said Delany her heirs and assigns forever, but subjecting the aforesaid Delany wife of Isaac I. Barber to pay unto my daughter Sophia wife of David Weidman the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars one year from the date of my decease for which payment I make the same a lien on the aforesaid premises. Third I give and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate not herein before disposed of and bequeathed of what nature or kind soever to my daughters Catharine, Sophia, Christina and Delany to be divided equal between them share and share alike. And Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my sons in laws John Hunting and Isaac I. Barber to be the executors of my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have my hereunto set my hand and seal this Thirteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Fifty two.
