BAILEY a PRIVATE of captain Silas E Taylor’s Company (G) 50th Regiment of New York Engineers Volunteers, who was enrolled on the twenty- fourth day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixty four to serve One year or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States this Thirteenth day of June, 1865, at Fort Barry, Va. by reason of special order No.142, Va. Ins. A.P. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.) Said John W. Bailey was born in Catlin in the State of New York, is eighteen years of age, five foot, eleven inches high, light complexion, black eyes, brown hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Farmer. ENGINEERS, is entitled to a pension under the provisions of the Act of June 27, 1890, at the rate of Eight dollars per month to commence on the eighteenth day of December 1906, and to continue during her widowhood.
