Funeral services held at Doran Funeral Home, 39 Center St. Waterloo. Rev. Charles Manning officiate. Burial held at St Columbkille Cemetery in Seneca Falls. She was born on Feb 28, 1912 at Seneca Falls, NY. She was a Gold Star Mother and a member of Warren-VanRiper American Legion Post Auxillary of Waterloo. Surviving are her three sons: Charles F., Lester, and Willis A.,all of Waterloo, one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Rosemary) VanVorst of Waterloo, four brothers: Millard Moses of Seneca Falls, Maynard Moses of Weedsport, Francis Moses of Waterloo, and Clarence Moses of Clyde, three sisters, Mrs. Judson (Margaret) Dutton of Seneca Falls, Mrs Carl (Evelyn) Northup and Mrs. Theodore (Catherine) McCann both of Waterloo and ten grandchildren. Bearers were Scott Frnech, Frank Minnier, James Nearpass, Ronald Smith, Russell Smith, and Nelson Vanvorst. Additional Comments: She was born to Charles and Evelyn Moses of Seneca Falls and was predeceased by a son William VanGelder who was killed in combat in Vietnam, Frank VanGelder and Robert VanGelder and a daughter, Beverly Skinner VanVorst. Her loving husband, William VanGelder passed away in 1959.
