Probated 18 Mar 1891; George W. ______, District Attorney and acting Surrogate
of said County of Seneca.

19 October 1889
In the Name of God.  Amen

I, Jared H. Smith of the town of Romulus, Seneca County, New York, being of
sound and disposing mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this
life, do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament , as
follows:

First:  After my lawful debts are paid, I give and bequeath to my daughter
Gertrude E. Kinne, the sum of Four Hundred Dollars, and charge the same on my
real estate if the personal is insufficient pay the same.

Second:  All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate both real and
personal, I give and devise to my two daughters, Gertrude E. Kinne and Emma C.
Whipple, and to their heirs and assigns forever.  Except as folows:  my house
hold furniture, which, I give to my daughter Emma C. Whipple.

I hereby appoint my daughters, Gertrude E. Kinne and Emma C. Whipple, to be
Executors of this my last Will and Testament; hereby revoking all former Wills
by me made.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal,
the 19th day of October, in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty nine.

Subscribed by Jared H. Smith, the testator named in the foregoing Will, in the
presence of each of us, and at the time of making such subscription, the above
instrument was declared by the said Testator, to be his last Will and
Testament, and each of us, at the request of the said Testator and in hisi
presence, and in the pressence of each other, signed our names as witnesses
thereto.
