Banks Bible

The Comprehensive Bible Containing the Old and New  Testaments, Philadelphia,
JB Lippincott & Company, 1864. No exact match in Hills.


This Bible is severely water damaged, but appears to have dried out well, with
no smells or really bad discolorations. All of the entries appear in just two
handwritings, with the all-important year missing from a lot of the dates.

There is also an obituary of Rev. James Dill, Civil War  Veteran from
Monticello pressed into this Bible.
