(Married, 1713.) Holy Bible in English; London, Thomas Baskett, 1759. Contains the records of Peter Bedlow and Mary Nazereth his wife with their descendants. Inherited by their great-great-grandson, the late William Bedlow Beekman, Esq., and is now owned by Mrs. Beekman. April the 25th 1713 Mary Nazereth Daughter of Eleoner & William Nazereth, was married to Peter Bedlow by the Reverend Mr. Freeman on Long Island. July the 12:1716 was born Mary the Daughter of the above Peter & Mary Bedlow. May the 22:1718 was born Cornelius the son of Peter & Mary Bedlow. Nov. the 19:1719 Departed this life, Mary the Daughter of Peter & Mary Bedlow. Dec. the 6th 1722 was born William the son of Peter & Mary Bedlow. Feb'y the 10th 1737 was born Elizebeth the Daughter of Peter & Mary Bedlow & departed this Life the 2nd March following. Clinton House on the 11th October 1781 Catharine Daughter of William & Catharine Bedlow, was married to Ebenezer Crosby by the Reverend John Moffat, at New Windsor Ulster County. Witnesses present Ä William Bedlow & Catharine his wife, Doc't Stephen McCrea, Henry Rutgers, Henry Bedlow, Maria Rutgers, Mary E. G. Bedlow, Andrew Dunscomb, Catharine Clinton Daughter of Governor Clinton, William Bedlow. August the l2th - - 1749 William Bedlow Son of Peter Bedlow & Mary Nazereth was married to Catharina Rutgers, Daughter of Hendrick Rutgers and Catharina Depeyster By the Reverend Mr. Boel. May the Lord vouchsafe his Blessing to us. August the 24th Ä 1751 Was born our Son Peter and was Baptised in the New Dutch Church, My father Peter Bedlow and My Mother Mary Bedlow Sponsors. Dec. the 26th - 1751 Departed this Life in hopes of a glorious Immortality our son Peter. His remains being deposited in Mr. Rutgers' Family Vault. Nov. the 9th 1756 Was born our Third son William on Tuesday at seven in the Morning, and was baptised in the House by the Reverend Mr. John Ogilvie the 16th following. Mr. Hendrick Rutgers & his wife Catherina Depeyster Sponsors. May the l5th - 1757 Departed this life our son William and was entered into the Family Vault. The Lord I hope has received his soul. May the l9th - 1758 Was born our daughter Catharina and was Baptised on the 28th the same Month at St. Georges Chaple by the Reverend Mr. Barcley. Catharina Rutgers, Anna Bancker & Wm. Bancker Sponsors. May the Almighty, Grant her to live, and grow up a child of his. Jan'y the 3 - l767 Was Born our fourth son Henry, and was Baptised in the House by the Reverend Mr. John Ogilvie on the 12th of the same month. Mr. Henry Rutgers Jr. Mr. Gerardus Depeyster and Mary Rutgers, Sponsors. God Grant him to Live and Grow up in Knowledge, & True Holyness. Feb'y the 19th 1768 Was born our fifth son William and was Baptised the 18th March Following in the House by the Reverend Mr. John Ogilvie whome with Mr. William Anderson and Mrs. Elizabeth Goade were Sponsors. March the 16th 1768 Departed this life our fifth son William, his Remains were Deposited in the Family Vault, the Lord I hope has received him into Glory. Aug. the lstÄ1771 Was Born our Third daughter Mary Elizabeth Goad and was Baptised, the 11th of the same month in the House by the Reverend Mr. John Ogilvie. Mrs. Mary Chevet, Mrs. Elizabeth Goad, and Robert R. Livingston Jr. Sponsors. May the Lord Bless and Preserve her a Child of his July the 7th 1786 Was Born William, Son of Henry Bedlow and Catherine Van Horn, he was Baptised in the House by the Reverend Samuel Provoost, William Bedlow Senr., Henry Bedlow & Mary Elizabeth Goad Bedlow Sponsors. Ebenezer Crosby & Catherine his wife this Life Doc't Ebenezer Crosby 19th was entered in Mr. H. Rutgers in the New Dutch Churchyard. Departed this life My daughter Catharine and was on the 22d entered in the Family in the New Dutch Church Yard. June the 11th was born Henry Rutgers Crosby son of Dr. Ebenezer Crosby & Catherine his wife 1788 May the 22 Departed this life Henry Rutgers Crosby and on the 24th was entered in the Family Vault. 1756 was born Flora, a Black 1779 was born Nan Daughter of the above. 1781 was born Mosanah Ditto 1789 was born Flora Ditto
