JOHN CHURCH.
(Born 1748.)

Holy Bible in English; London, Christopher Barker, 1577.

The records cover the births of all the children of Richard and Elizabeth
Church. John Church came to this country and married Angelica Schuyler,
daughter of Philip Schuyler; the Bible descended to her great-great-grandson,
Philip Schuyler Church of Geneva, New York, the present owner, who has
deposited it for safe keeping in the Library of Hobart College, Geneva.

Mattilda ye Daughter of Richd. & Eliz. Church was born at Lowestoft, on monday
ye Ninth of Augst. 1736 at twelve o Clock at noon answerd for by ye Revt. Wm.
Tanner & wife & Mrs. Jane Barker Senr. of Lowest.

Sam: Church ye Son of ye Sd. Richd. & Eliza. Church was born at Great yarmouth
on Friday ye Seventeenth of Sept.. 1737 at eleven o Clock in ye morning.

John: Church the Son of Richd & Eliz. Church was born on Wensday ye 28th of
Mar. at 9 o clock in ye morning in ye year of our Lord 1739

Jane Church the Daughter of Richd and Eliza. Church was born at Great yarmth
on Saturday the 15th of March at half an hour after five o Clock in ye
afternoon 1740 answerd for by Mr. Frd. Porter of yarmt & and Mis. Eliza
Paulsom & Mrs. Jenny Barker.

Elizabeth Church the daughter of Rich. & Eliza. was born on Munday the 22d of
Novr. 1742: at 9 o Clock at night answerd for by Mr. Sam: Barker and Mrs.
Margt. Barker and Mrs. Sarah Barker, of Lowestoft.

Elizabeth Church the daughter of Richd and Eliza. Church was born on Saturday
the 12th of April 1746: at 2 o Clock in the Morning, and answerd for by Capt.
Jno. Barker Mrs. Ann Kitteridge, and Mrs. Hannah Rymer.

Jno Barker Church the Son of ye Sd. Richd & Eliza. Church wasborn on Sunday ye
30th Octr at 9 o Clock in ye morn, 1748, answerd for by Mr Jno Barker of
London & Mr. Robt. Barker, Lowest & Mrs. Jane Barker Junr.
