Parkhurst, one of the members of the State Commission in Lunacy, is a resident of Canandaigua. He was an Assemblyman representing Ontario county in the Assembly in 1893 and 1894. In 1897 he was appointed a member of the State Commission in Lunacy by Governor Black and has retained the position since.
