The Last Sad Rites
New York,Dec.6-The remains of Jay Gould were taken to Woodlawn cemetary this 
morning.Simple services according to the rites of the Episcopal church were 
held at the tomb by Chancellor McCracken of the University of New York.The 
body was deposited into an oaken casket crypt beside the remians of his 
Gould's wife.Only the members of the family and a few very intimate friends 
followed the hearse.Two cemetary policeman were kept on duty at the tomb when 
the mourners departed.In spite of the statement that the tomb was not to be 
guarded
