He was born in State of Massachusetts twenty-seven years ago, 6' high, light complexion, blue eyes, brown hair and by occupation a farmer. During the last two months the soldier has been unfit for duty 60 days. Phthisis pulmonalis; had haemoptysis previous to enlistment. Discharged at Emory Hospital, Washington, D.C., May 25, 1863.
