W. W. CAPRON Mrs. Sarah Wintersmith Capron, wife of Wiley W. Capron, passed away at her home in this village Sunday evening at the age of 57 years. She had been in poor health for some time but her condition was not considered critical until a few days before her death. Mrs. Capron was born in Jefferson county, Kentucky, March 27, 1867, the family later moving to Louisville, where she resided until her marriage to W. W. Capron of Wayland in 1894, since which time she had been an esteemed and much respected resident of this village. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Wilbur of New York city, Theodore, Charles, and Wiley of Wayland and four brothers, Theodore, Charles, John and Walter Wintersmith of Kentucky. Funeral services were held at the family home Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, Rev. C. H. Gall officiating and burial was in the local cemetery. Mrs. Capron was a woman of high ideals, of refined Christian character, devoted to her family to a marked degree and will be greatly missed in this community, the betterment of which was one of her aims in life.
