Will dated 9 October 1804. Appointed executors: John Faulkner, Jr., Town of Bath, and James Faulkner, Esq., Town of Painted Post. To beloved wife Ann Faulkner west half of dwelling house divided by entry together with cellar and all household furniture, with negro boy and two wenches, also riding horse or mare, two cows, together with interest of $750 to be paid yearly on demand with all above property to be at her disposal, at her death to her children, to enjoy property during her widowhood. To son John Faulkner, $250 to be paid as soon as convenient. To son Peter Faulkner $1. To son Samuel Faulkner $250 to be paid four years after death. To daughter Margaret DOVE $125 to be paid six years after decease. To daughter Mary SILL $125 to be paid three years after death. To granddaughter Martha CARR $15 to be paid one year after my decease. To grandson John Faulkner, son of David Faulkner, deceased, $25 when he becomes of age one year after decease. To son James Faulkner all rest of real and personal estate as he thinks proper toward payment of debts and funeral expenses. Wench ANN to be left to daughter Mary Sill after death of wife, James to pay to grandson John Faulkner, son of John Faulkner, 1/2 value of said Negro who is to be manumitted at age 35.
