Two other young men who were with Miller got out of the way of the flyer, but Miller seems to have stepped in front of the fast train. The body was not cut up much, about the only mark being on the head. Division Foreman Buck took charge of the remains and later they were turned over to Undertaker Yingling of Lilly who buried them at the county's expense. In Miller's pocket was found a letter addressed to him at No. 30 Maple street, Potsdam, N.Y. The letter was from a brother in California.
