2. James Taylor Pierce (Mial R.) was born on 22 Feb 1840 in Oswegatchee, St.
Lawrence County, New York, USA. He died on 19 Dec 1882 in Watertown, Jefferson
County, Wisconsin, USA. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery at Watertown,
Wisconsin. Civil War Veteran -- 1st Lt of Co M 6th NY Heavy Artillery. 


Additional Comments:
He was my step great grand uncle and brother of Rev. David Franklin Pierce
[1849-1936].
