Caldwell, son, 30 Church St, New York City William E. Caldwell, son, Belleville, Illinois Last Will and Testament. I, Thomas Caldwell, Age 77 years, of the village of Heuvelton, in the County of St. Lawrence and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in manner following, that is to say; First. I direct that all my dust debts and funeral expenses be paid. Second. I hereby give and bequeath all my personal property, together with one - third of my real property, to my wife, Lavilla Caldwell, in lieu of dower. However should my estate be required to pay any written obligations of my wife's, which are or may be endorsed by executed by me, T do then direct that the amounts so paid shall be deducted from the share of my estate herein granted to my wife. Third. I hereby give and bequeath One Hundred Dollars to my daughter Fannie McCartney, in addition to her residuary share in my property, to be paid from the proceeds of my real estate. Fourth. All the rest, residue and remainder of my property, I hereby devide to my four children, Fannie McCartney, Josephine McLachlan, Fred E. Caldwell and William E. Caldwell in equal one-fourth shares. I hereby direct my executor to sell and convey my real property within reasonable time after my death and-siake disposition of the proceeds therefrom according to the terms of this my will. Lastly, I hereby appoint my son, Fred E. Caldwell, with full and complete power of sale of realty herein devised, to be executor of this, my last Will and Testament; hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In Witness Thereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name the twelfth day of December in the year one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, (1914) Thomas Caldwell We, whose names are hereto subscribed, Do Certify, that on the 12th day of December, 1914, Thomas Caldwell the testator, subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time, in our presence and bearing, declared the same to be his last Will and Testament, and requested us, and eaoh of us, to sign our names thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof, which we hereby do in the presenoe of the testator and of each other, on the said date, and write opposite our names our respective places of residence.
