Dieterle Sr., Harold
DIETERLE-Harold Sr., passed away on March 31, 2005, peacefully at home in the
company of his family after 92 years of a remarkable life, his wife of 55
years Mary, (nee Mary Elizabeth Simons), caring for him. Harold led a full
life retiring from Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation after a career of
35 years. Harold is survived by his wife, two children, Harold Jr. and Dee
Dee, father-in-law to Chris and Mary Beth and six grandchildren. Harold, with
his wry sense of humor, taught his children what it meant to love and care.
Contributions in his name may be made to Guide Dog Foundation, 371 E. Jericho
Tpke, Smithtown, NY, 11787 in memory of his good friend and companion Shevie.
The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30PM at

was an enthusiastic member of the Senior Citizens Clubs. Anna was passionate

Wichard, Sonia
WICHARD-Sonia 86, on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 of natural causes. She had
lived in Westlake Village, CA for the past five years; formerly of Huntington
Bay, NY. Sonia, who was married to the late Philip Wichard, the noted
collector of antique cars, in 1941 until his death in 1995. She came to
America in 1922 at the age of 4 from Lomza, Poland. Throughout her life, she
was involved with numerous volunteer activities on Long Island. She is
survived by her three sons, Gary (and Maire), Alvin (and Susan) and Neal (and
Christine), grand- children Dana, Jessica, Adam, Ross, Ryan and Adrienne and
great-grandchildren Ethan and William. Services Sunday April 3, 2005 at 10AM
at Gutterman's Funeral Home, 516-921-5757.
