2005. Beloved husband to the late Lucille E. Andersen. Father to Kurt, Barry
and Chris Anderson and Diane Marando. Father-in-law to Steve Maranda, Elaine
and AnnaMarie Andersen. Adored Grandpa to Stephen, Kristina, Christopher
Bobby, Nicholas, Joseph, Kaitlyn and Samantha. Also survived by his brother

Eggers Jr., Charles
EGGERS-Charles, Jr., 77, of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., died April 1, 2005, at his
home. Born in New York, N.Y., he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for
17 years coming from Levittown, N.Y. During WW II he served in the U.S. Navy
Seabees in the Aleutian Islands. Before retiring he was a steamfitter for 35
years with Enterprise Association of Steamfitters Union Local #638, N.Y.C.,
and the United Association. He loved music and dancing. He was a lifetime
Charter member of the National World War II Memorial. He also was a member of
the American Legion Post 1711, Levittown, N.Y., and was active with the Cub
Scouts and Little League in Levittown. He was predeceased by his wife of 48
years, Joan Eggers. Survivors include sons, Robert and James of Port Saint
Lucie, Fla., Richard of Jensen Beach, Fla., Charles III of Tampa, Fla., John
of Ridge, N.Y.; daughter, Kathie Salica of Jensen Beach, Fla.; sister, Carol
Grosse of Port Jefferson, N.Y.; 7 grandchildren, and his companion of 7 years,
Thelma Reisch of Port Saint Lucie. For those who wish, contributions may be
made to the Hospice Foundation, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Visiting hours 2-4 and 7-9:30 PM, Wednesday, Giove Funeral Home, 640 Middle

Meister, William Andrew
MEISTER-William Andrew, 77, of Bluffton, SC, died at his home on Thursday,
March 31, 2005. Mr. Meister was born in New York City, NY, on November 11,
1927, to the late William Carl Meister and Millicent Simmons Meister. Mr.
Meister was owner of William A. Meister Co., and Vice President of Sales with
Carlton- Stewart Air Conditioning Contractors. He was a member of the Lions
Club, a former Boy Scout Leader and he was an Episcopal. Mr. Meister was a US
Navy Veteran of World War II. He is survivor by his wife Carrie Dickey Meister
of Bluffton, SC; one son William John Meister of Wando, SC; two daughter,
Melanie Layton of Ocean, NJ, and Lynne Versen of Chicago, IL, and four
grandchildren. Funeral Services are to be announced at a later date. Sauls
Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC, is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Huntington, LI, NY, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005. She was born in
Scranton, PA in 1928. She was a homemaker and a member of the Naples Saint
William Catholic Church and a past member of St. Patrick's RC in Huntington,
NY. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond, in 2004.
Loving mother of Kurt of Pensacola, FL, Christopher and his wife Michelle of
Ashburn, VA, Mark and his wife Phyllis of Okemos, MI, Douglas of Austin, TX,
Susan and her husband Joseph Adams of Darien, CT and her seven adored
grandchildren. She is also survived by two devoted sisters, Joan Fee of
Schenectady, NY, and Elise Migdon of Selden, NY. A memorial Mass will be
celebrated Thursday, April 7, 10:00am at St. William Catholic Church, 750
Seagate Drive, Naples. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of

WALTON-Frances (nee Kotlarz), 83 years, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of
Bellmore, on March 11, 2005. Loving wife of Louis Sr. Devoted mother of Louis
Jr., James, Donald, and Maureen. Dear grandmother of Louis Jr., Scott, James,
Kristine, Donald, Christopher and Kimberly. Adored great-grandmother of Louis
Savanna, Chase, Ryan, Owen and Benjamin. A resident of Orange Acres in
Sarasota, she was actively involved for more than 16 years. She served on and
chaired committees in various capacities and events. She was loved and
respected by her fellow residents of Orange Acres. She loved them all as well,
for Orange Acres is such a close knit community. Remembered for her ability to
host instant parties to the enjoyment of all. Prestigiously elected as Queen
(and husband Louis, King), of Orange Acres. She was the founder and Queen of
the Scarlet Macaws Chapter of the Red Hat Ladies of Sarasota, Fla. A graduate
of Mepham High Schools first graduating Class of 1939. She was Mepham's first
graduating valedictorian. She represented Mepham's Class of 1939 Alumni
Association to which she was very devoted. She took exceptional pride as a
graduate of Mepham High School. After being cremated in Sarasota a service was
held on Saturday, March 19, 2005, at St. John's Methodist Church, Sarasota,
attended by her family and many of her friends from Sarasota. A church service
will also be held on Friday, April 8, 2005, at the Bellmore Methodist Church
at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to the
Mepham High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, 2401 Camp Avenue,
Bellmore, NY 11710.
