As a family, we'll spend our day differently, although in common will be our thoughts. We'll focus on his last day and how courageously he fought. We'll think about the times we spent with him, locked forever in our mind. How much he meant to us and memories we'll always find. In silence we'll talk to him in prayer, let him know how much we miss him so. We know he'll always be with us, for our hearts won't let him go. Published in Newsday on 4/5/2005.
