Stamford, CT. She was born on March 7, 1943 to Harold and Celia Markowitz in
Bronx, NY and was raised in Douglaston, Queens. She raised her family in Great
Neck, NY before retiring to the Florida Keys in 2002. She was the loving wife
of the late Arnold Blumberg and the devoted mother of Greg Newman of Bristol,
VT and Heath Newman of Stamford, CT. She also leaves behind her grandchildren,
Hannah, Spencer and Joshua, and her dear sisters, Ivy Helstein and Andrea
Boziwick. A service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 10AM at the
Riverside-Nassau North Chapels, located at 55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck,
NY. A brief beachfront memorial will follow at Stepping Stone Park. Family and
friends will gather after the memorial at the home of her sister, Ivy
