Cruz, Carolanne
CRUZ-Carolanne, 68, peacefully on March 31, 2005 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Born
March 26, 1937 in Mineola, NY, to Jerome William Boyle and Ruth Marie
Dellamore. She was the youngest of four children, Ruth Marie, Geraldine and
Jerome. Carolanne graduated at Flushing HS, and went on to work for American
Airlines. Carolanne lived on Long Island most of her life. She loved her
family, the beaches, boating, fishing and was a devoted Christian, moving to
Florida only to be closer to her family. She is survived by her loving husband
Julio Roberto Cruz, (Ft. Lauderdale), two loving sisters, Ruth Marie Vopelak,
(Hicksville, NY), Geraldine Marshall, (San Diego, CA), her two loving sons
Matthew E. Kane (Marianne) of Tequesta, FL and Christopher H. Kane (Piera
Paola) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and grandsons Tyler E. Kane and Christopher H.
Kane, both of Florida, and many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service
to celebrate her Life will be held at Barbara Falowskis Funeral Home, 300 SW
6th St, Ft. Lauderdale, April 17th from 2-4PM, 954-462-4262.

Mateiko, Theo
MATEIKO-Theo, was born in Jamaica, Queens, on November 11, 1949. She moved to
Roosevelt in 1957 and graduated Roosevelt High School in 1967. Theo then went
on to Mandle School of Nursing in which she graduated in 1969 with a
certificate as a Medical Assistant and while there, she had her picture
featured on the Mandle School brochure. She worked many years as a Medical
Assistant, most recently for Dr. David Speilsinger.In 2005, she was named to
The Empire Who's Who of Executives and Professionals. Theo was always known
for giving a helping hand to everyone. Those who knew her would say she had a
tremendous heart and loved helping everyone. Unfortunately her heart failed as
Theo Mateiko passed away on April 5, 2005. She is survived by her husband
Jimmy and her children James, Elizabeth and Stefany. She was the daughter of
Robert and Theo Reardon as well as the sister of Robert Michael, Gregory,
Adrienne (McLoughlin), and Dorothy. Viewing at Sinnickson's Funeral Home at
203 Main St. (County Rd. 80), Center Moriches, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 9 AM, St. John's Church. Interment to
follow Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Menzin, Dr. Sheldon G.

PARNELL-McCarthy Joan, 85, of Venice, Fla., died April 5, 2005. She was born
July 18, 1919 in Jamaica, NY, and moved to this area in 1986 from Seaford, NY,
after a long career in the restaurant business. She was member of Our Lady of
Lourdes Catholic Church and active with the Women's Guild there. She is
survived by her daughter Maureen Belisle of Middlefield, Conn.; sisters, Rita
Trapani of East Meadow, NY, Amelia Santangelo of New Hyde Park, NY; and one
grandson, Daniel Belisle. Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home
Venice Chapel on Friday, April 8, from 6 PM   8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial
will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Saturday, April 9, 11
