Kinsley, Margaret (Peggy) KINSLEY-Margaret (Peggy), affectionately known as "The Bakery Lady", who worked close to 40 years at the Levittown Bakery, on April 21, 2005 with her children at her side after a gallant fight with cancer. Peggy, who was a breast cancer survivor in 1993, was born Margaret Mary Maroney in Manhattan in 1920 and is the only surviving child of Nellie Walsh and Thomas Maroney. While working at the Fifth Avenue Bus Company in Manhattan, she met her husband, William, and they married in 1947. A short time after, he joined the New York City Police Department. In 1954 they decided move to Levittown to raise their six children and she took a job at the bakery to supplement their income. "It seems that no matter where she went, even vacationing in Ireland, she would meet people who would recognize her from the bakery", said her daughter, Denise Santelli.
