degrees from St. John's University and Brooklyn College. She was a librarian
for numerous private firms and a teacher in the New York Public Schools for
many years. Ruth was the daughter of the late Elbert and Edith (Nee Cassidy)
Rushmore of Brooklyn, NY. She was the widow of Matthew J. McDonough, her
husband of 49 years who passed away in 1996. She is survived by her daughters:

Brunswick, NJ; Kathleen Kobbe and husband David of Lynbrook, NY; Margaret Mary
