Nitkewicz, Edward Joseph (Memoriam) EDWARD JOSEPH NITKEWICZ 9/18/1941- 8/1/1995 10th Anniversary in Heaven Dad: The past ten years have been filled with pain, sorrow, and joy. Your physical absence has been nearly unbearable. Your spiritual presence has served as a beacon directing me through the storms of my life. Your passing gave me the tools I eventually needed to grieve the loss of my son's precious spirit. Your memory lifts me up. However, I suffer daily the loss of the counsel I was just beginning to explore. I mourn the loss of the friendship I was just beginning to build. And, I bear without relief, the scars that your sudden departure burned on my heart and on my soul. I have lived my life attempting to meet the standards you so selflessly established. Please continue to guide me from above as I continue this lonesome journey to help others as you taught me to do, with dignity, grace and humility. I love you & I miss you desperately, Your son, Ed Published in Newsday on 8/1/2005. Oliveri, Louis J. OLIVERI-Louis J., on July 30, 2005. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee: LoGuidice).
