Barbara is retired from the Student Accounts Department of the State University at Stony Brook. She was a Cub Scout leader, active on Church committees including President of the Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies' Guild, and was very proud to have earned a degree from Suffolk County Community College and be inducted into the Honor Society at age 46. She is survived by her mother, Helen Fuller of Valrico; her husband, David Sr.; her sons, David Jr., of Valrico and Bryan of Allentown, PA; twin grandchildren, David III and Nicole; uncle, Frank Courtney Jr.; step sister, Lynne Canzani; step brothers, Anthony and Robert Fuller. Goodrich, Lauraine Zillah GOODRICH-Lauraine Zillah, on February 8, 2005. We celebrate the life of Lauraine Zillah Goodrich, born in Vermont on April 15, 1925, to Charlotte Brown and C. Arthur Goodrich. Lauraine lived a rich, full life with several careers, including an award from New York State for her longevity as a public servant which included 45 years at the Jones Beach Marine Stadium and her retirement posting as a New York State Probation Officer. Her Jones Beach service was the subject of one of two feature articles on her published in Newsday. At 51 she achieved one of her life-long goals as she received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from SUNY at Stony Brook. Lauraine's finest accomplishment was bearing and raising six uniquely incredible children: Charlotte, Ernest, Emily, Betsy, Suzanne and Jane. Following her lead, they are raising her eight grandchildren: Kathryn, Angie, Ernie, Arthur, Leah, Amy, Sarah and Becci. Lauraine also lives on through her sister and brother, Hildagard and Charlie, and her stepmother ErnaJean Goodrich, and the rest of her circle of family and friends which includes the staff at the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, where she volunteered for the past three years.
