Frazier "Fay" FRAZIER-"Fay" nee Filomena Della Ratta in her 85th year, on February 15, 2005. Fay was one of seven children and very proud of her Italian heritage. She was the beloved wife to the late WWII veteran, William H. Frazier of Oyster Bay whom she married September, 1942. A faithful camp follower, she was by her husband's side as he traveled the WWII camps before he was shipped overseas. She was best known and loved for her competitive spirit shown in her success with tournament bridge. As an accomplished golfer, she was known to her family and friends for her passion for this sport. At the age of 79, she won the Club Championship at the Crab Meadow Golf Club. Fay was a devout Roman Catholic where she attended mass daily at St. Patrick's Church in Huntington. Patrick was a long time lead man employee of and retiree from the Grumman Corp of Long Island for 36 years. He will be receiving a brick in his honor at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in the Summer of 2005. He passed away on February 13, 2005 at his home in Virginia after a valiant fight against Cancer. He was born and brought up in Harlem, New York. He then went into the service and fought in the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Saipan. When he was on leave he would hitch hike home on the weekends from Norfolk, V.A. to see his future bride Patricia. After he married he and his wife Patricia moved to the eastern end of Long Island where they raised their four children in the town of Shoreham. After retirement Pat and Patty moved to the town of Lake Monticello in Palmyra V.A. where he had a house built. Directly after that, Pat not being one to sit around for those of you who knew him, rebuilt the entire interior of the house and did a beautiful job. Pat loved the Blue Ridge Mountains. He is survived by his beautiful wife Patricia, his son Patrick, his three beautiful daughters: Kathleen, Maureen and Jennifer and eleven grandchildren: Kellie, Heather, Peter, Craig Jr., Michael, Patrick, Zachary, Kevin, Edward, Lea and Emily.
