Murray, Shirley Ann
MURRAY-Shirley Ann, age 69, of Centereach, NY, passed away on Saturday, July
2, 2005 within the comfort of her home in Titusville, Florida. Shirley was a
loving mother and exceptional woman; kind, caring and funny. She devoted her
sharp mind for 26 years at the Stony Brook Hospital, Long Island, NY prior to
retiring and moving to Florida last year. She leaves behind to cherish her
memory her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Ronald Murray, three sons,
Steven, Ronald Jr. and wife Annette and Daniel. Grandchildren, Cheryl,
Kelleann, Jessica, Zachary and Emily, sisters Dorothy Fawcett and Marge
Dowling. Shirley is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear

Born in Bergen, Norway she came to the United States in 1949 with her three

Caption Torleif Ommundsen. She moved to Palm City, FL, in 1997 to live with
her youngest daughter Ingrid Gianoutsos. Prior to moving she lived in E.
Northport, LI, NY. She was a member of Northport Adah Chapter O.E.S. and
worked at Kings Park State Hospital as a Mental Health Technician before
retiring. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palm City. Her hobbies
included reading, bowling, and the activities of a busy active family. She is
survived by her 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

SWERZ-Mary D., Beloved wife, mother, sister and friend passed away at home on
July 2, 2005 in Park City, Utah. Mary was born on February 27, 1924 in
Woodmere, NY. Daughter of Giovannina and Anniello Daddio, she was raised with
her sister Madeleine Gucker and two brothers Mario and Joseph Piscitelli. She
married F. Charles Swerz (deceased) on September 1, 1947 and they were married
for 50 years. Mary is survived by her four children: Charles P. Swerz of New
York, NY; Janet Esty of Park City, UT; Patricia Horton of Wilton, CT and Mary
Elisabeth Swerz of Boston, MA. Five grandchildren also survive her. Memorial
services will be held at St. Bridget's Chapel, 181 Maple Ave., Westbury, NY,
on Tuesday July 12, 2005 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send
donations to either The Macular Degeneration Foundation, Inc. or the local
hospice organization.
