BRADY-Joseph P., 71, a resident of Lawrenceville, GA, and a former resident of Huntington, LI, died Sunday in Georgia, where he had lived for 10 years. Mr. Brady was born in Yonkers, NY, and was the son of the late Joseph and Thelma (Congdon) Brady. He was a graduate of Liberty High School in 1952, and received his BS from SUNY-Oswego in 1959. He received his MA from Hofstra University in 1970 and was awarded his Permanent Certificate for School Administration from the State University of New York in 1973. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an Assistant Principal with the Garden City, Long Island Public School System. He is survived by his wife, Thelma (Shurr) Brady of Lawrenceville, GA; 2 sons, Sean S. Brady of Huntington, NY, and Thomas P. Brady of Lawrenceville, GA; a brother, Thomas Brady of Southold, NY; a sister, Clare Johnson of Rhode Island; and several nieces and nephews.
