He was born in New York City to the late George and Emma (Mabler) Bebon on April 24, 1914. He was married to the late Dorothy (McNally) Bebon. He was retired from the Manufactures Hanover Trust company where he worked in Government Bond Trade as an Assistant Secretary for 45 years. He is survived by one son, Robert Bebon of Newtown, PA, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Survived by his wife Laurette, his children Laurette Roddin, Keith, Richard, John, Lauren, Renee Hauser, Graham, Raymond, David and Danielle, his sister Ann Johnson, his nephew Reed Johnson, his niece Denise Loughlin, 21 grandchildren and seven great-children. A graduate of Staunton Military Academy and Norwich University, he joined the Army Air Corps and became a B-17 pilot during World War II. Following the war, he joined the Army National Guard and served 27 years in the U.S. military. He was employed as an engineer by Lilco for twenty years. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Martha and her husband, Herb, had lived in Manhasset, NY, since 1937 and had two children, Ann and Chico. They were active members of the Congregational Church of Manhasset. After Herb retired from the Uniroyal Corp. (previously the U.S.Rubber Company) in the midsixties he worked as business manager for the church until his death in 1976. At that time, Martha, a retired teacher and gardener, moved to the neighboring town of Port Washington, but remained active in the church. In 1982, she moved to Washington, D.C., and joined the Cleveland Park Congregational Church, becoming active as a member and volunteer. She also volunteered at the Washington Cathedral, the White House mail-processing center, and became an ombudsman for nursing home patients in the District of Columbia. She is survived by her son, Chico, of Morristown, NJ, and daughter, Ann Morales, of Bethesda, MD, as well as her grandchildren, John Kieswetter, Malena Morales and Chris Morales. Margolies, Alene Muriel MARGOLIES-Alene Muriel, devoted wife,mother and grandmother, died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on May 31, 2005, and, in so doing, joined Jerome Margolies, her husband and cherished friend of over 51 years. Best known for her radiant smile, generous spirit and incredible intellect, none will miss her more than her two daughters, Carolyn Margolies and Diane Margolies-Lipman; her son-in-law, Howard Lipman; and five grandchildren, Erica, Ben, Faye, Hannah and Zachary. Alene, whose love of leaning earned her graduate degrees in English, History and Business Administration, shared her many gifts by becoming an author, teacher, museum guide and, in "retirement", offering accounting services to seniors in her community. Nonetheless, her greatest joy was celebrating the talents of her grandchildren, all of whom will remember her as a general resource on matters ranging from the atom to the zebra, calling out the answers to Jeopardy before a single contestant, and, of course, cheering them on as their biggest fan.
