A graduate of Staunton Military Academy and Norwich University, he joined the Army Air Corps and became a B-17 pilot during World War II. Following the war, he joined the Army National Guard and served 27 years in the U.S. military. He was employed as an engineer by Lilco for twenty years. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
