Hiltz, Edna Pearl "Bonnie" (Uhtenwoldt)
HILTZ-Edna Pearl "Bonnie" (Uhtenwoldt), 79, of Weekapaug, RI, died
unexpectedly from a stroke in Boston, MA, on June 8, 2005, surrounded by her
family. Mrs. Hiltz was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Ernest and
Ernestine (Zibolt) Uhtenwoldt. She received a bachelor's degree from Syracuse
University. Mrs. Hiltz had been a resident of Weekapaug since 1968 and was a
former resident of Garden City, NY. She was a loving and devoted mother and
grandmother. She volunteered in several capacities and was committed to
helping others in need. Her hobbies included art, and she enjoyed doing
needlepoint and knitting, playing bridge and tennis, and doing the NY Times
crossword puzzles. Surviving, she leaves her two sons and daughters, Stephen
P. and Pamela J. Madigan of Medfield, MA, David B. and Terry B. Hiltz of
Weekapaug, RI, Dr. Janet A. Madigan and Robert J. Harrity, Jr. of New Haven,
CT, Catherine A. Madigan of Manhattan and East Hampton, NY; her
daughter-inlaw, Patricia Madigan Yates of Garden City, NY; her grandchildren,
Marissa L. Madigan of Manhattan, Daniel J. and Kelly A. Madigan of Garden
City, NY, Ryan J. and Sean H. Harrity of New Haven, CT, Victoria J. Madigan of
Medfield, MA, and Ian V., Lucas, and Madigan J. Hiltz of Weekapaug, RI. In
addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, James D. Madigan III,
and her sister, Helen U. Baier. A private family service is planned. A public

Szilva, Anne
SZILVA-Anne on June 8, of Westbury, passed away after a brief illness. She
died at home surrounded and supported by her family. Anne was born in Westbury
in1954, and graduated from Clarke High School. She spent most of her life
working with her close friends and colleagues at Altana Pharmaceuticals Inc.
She also enjoyed sailing with friends in Connecticut. Anne is survived by her
father, Julius Szilva, and her siblings, Paul, Phil and Jean. At Anne's
request, there will be no formal services. Donations may be made to Hospice
