Brennan, Edward L.
BRENNAN-Edward L., Sr., 88, of Waterford, CT passed away Saturday, June 18,
2005 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born March 16, 1917
the son of Edward L. and Lillian Dewilde Brennan. A native of Long Island he
attended local schools and graduated from Saint John's University. He married
his childhood sweatheart, Loretta Donohue on October 3, 1942, in Baldwin, New
York. Ed worked as a manager at Pfizer's Brooklyn facility for 37 years and he
retired in 1977. The funeral will be he held from Mystic Funeral Home, Route
1, Mystic on Tuesday June 21, 2005 at 9 AM with a funeral mass at St. Paul in
Chains Church, 170 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford at 10:00AM. Burial will follow
in the St. Mary Mausoleum in New London. Relatives and friends and may call at
the funeral home on Monday, June 20 from 1-3 and 58PM. In lieu of flowers

Moran, James J.
MORAN-James J. on June 13, 2005 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio after a long and heroic
struggle with complications from surgery. He was 45 years old. Throughout his
ordeal, James displayed fierce courage and determination in the face of
overwhelming odds. A native of Rockville Centre, NY, he is survived by his
wife Cassandra and their children Alexandra, Christina, Anastasia and Andrew.
He is also survived by his parents, Eugene and Grace Moran of Rockville
Centre, siblings Siobhan (Andrew Karamouzis), Mark (Terry), Gregory
(Christine), Brian (Kathleen), Matthew (Jennifer), Colin (Christine), and 18
nieces and nephews. Jim was a graduate of Chaminade High School and Georgetown
University. He trained thoroughbred racehorses for many years, and later
became a General Manager overseeing food and beverage operations at major
sports arenas and stadiums, including Arlington Park in Illinois and Key Arena
in Seattle. Jim was an expert chef and enjoyed cooking for his family and
friends and hosting family get togethers. A memorial mass will be held on
Friday, June 24th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the James Moran Family Trust, 20
Ardsley Place, Rockville Centre, NY 11570.

Squitieri, Alan (Alfonso)
SQUITIERI-Alan (Alfonso), age 92, at his home in Gainesville, Florida on June
10, 2005. Born in Italy, Alfonso came to the United States when he was four
years old. He was a developer of malls. He had built more than 40 shopping
centers, one being "The Oaks Mall" in Gainesville and was the owner of two
Jaguar dealerships in New Jersey. He began his career as an elevator operator
and had to take his daughter Grace to work with him because of financial
problems. Grace likens him to Don Quixote; he was always striving for the big
dream. Alfonso is survived by his 72 year old daughter Grace (Amelia) Brandi
of Oceanside, New York-her six children, Danette, Danny, Darlene, Dennis, Dawn
and Douglas and also 14 grandchildren (Al's great grandchildren). There are
also members of the family from other marriages, Dennis of Guttenberg, New
Jersey, Sandy of Gainesville, Florida, Christopher (deceased), and also a
sister Rose Puglia of Gainesville, Florida.

Wallace, John
WALLACE-John of West Islip on June 16, 2005, in his 69th year. John is
survived by his devoted wife Patricia, his beloved children Marianne (David)
McGee, Richard (Susan) Wallace, and James (Maureen) Wallace. Cherished
grandchildren Anna McGee, Brennan, Ian, Riley, Darcie, Sean Wallace and was
anxiously expecting his seventh grandchild. John was a loving brother of
Robert, Margaret and William. He also had a large loving extended family. John
was a retiree of the NYC Fire Department Eng. 236 and 311. After retirement
John was known as the "Pantry Man" of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church. The
Wallace's will receive friends and family on Monday and Tuesday between the
hours of 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for
Wednesday at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church. A private cremation will
follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes
Food Pantry. Arrangements were handled under the care and dedication of Lang
Tobia DiPalma Funeral Home, 255 Higbie Lane, West Islip, NY, 11795.
