She was a native of New York, NY and had been a resident of Mineola, LI, NY for 50 years before moving to Henderson County in 1993. She was a daughter of the late Michelangelo LoCascio and Paolina Ribaudo LoCascio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph who died in 1987 and a daughter, Rosalinda; two brothers, Frank and his wife Rose LoCascio and Louis LoCascio; three sisters, Julia LoCascio, Cira Marchese and Josephine McGuire. While living in NY, she was employed by the County of Nassau as a bookkeeper for the children's shelter. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
