VEROW-Dorothy R., of Westbury, on March 21, 2005. Beloved wife of the late
Earle. Dear mother of Joseph (Rita), Mary Anne, Michael (Robin), Teresa McCann
(David), Margaret Goldstein (David), Clare Hart (Steven), Anthony, Catherine,
Rosemary Freitag (Gary) and Andrew (Regina). Cherished grandmother of 15.
Devoted sister of Sr. Jeanne Marie Ange DC, Rev. Vincent Trunk CM, and the
late Edmund Trunk. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Mrs. Verow
received a J.D. from Fordham Law School, she was one of the first WAVES to
serve in WWII. She was also an active member of the Right to Life Party. The
family will receive friends Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Donohue Cecere
Funeral Home, 290 Post Ave., Westbury. Funeral Mass, Wednesday 10 AM, at Our
Lady of Hope RC Church, Carle Place. Interment, with Military Honors,

Wysocki, Leon V.
WYSOCKI-Leon V., of Bethpage, passed away at the age of 82, on March 20, 2005.
Predeceased in 2001 by his beloved wife, Virginia. Loving father and father in
law of Karen A. and Richard Gapinski, and Leon P. and Nancy Wysocki. Cherished
grandfather of Richard and Kimberly Gapinski. As per Leon's request, no
calling hours will be held. Interment of ashes will take place at Calverton
National Cemetery. In honor of Leon's Service in the U.S. Army during WW II,
donations in his memory may be sent to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial
Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 452500301. Private cremation was

Young, Pearl H.
YOUNG-Pearl H., a longtime resident of East Rockaway, on October 28, 2004. A
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at 9 AM, at the
Donza Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Atlantic Avenue, East Rockaway, L.I. Entombment
will be at Calverton National Cemetery. Pearl is survived by two nephews, one
niece, a special friend Amelia Eaton and many friends. She was a proud veteran
of World War II in the Army and served in New Guinea and Manila under General
MacArthur. Pearl, a graduate of the University of Montana and Columbia
University, NY, was a Guidance Counselor for many years at Valley Stream South
High School. She was a life member of the American Legion, an active member of
the American Association of University Women and the N.Y. Retired Teachers
Association.
