Schumann, Maureen Ann
SCHUMANN-Maureen Ann passed away on May 18, 2005 at the age of 67 in
Huntington, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur P. Schumann
and her parents James and Catherine Gowen. She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law John and Kerri Coughlin of N. Bellmore, NY, her son Scott A.
Schumann of Youngsville, NC, her grandson Sean Patrick Coughlin, her sisters
Catherine G. Mannix and Margaret G. Mulligan of Cary, NC, and her brother
James P. Gowen of Lincoln University, PA. Maureen graduated from Dover Plains
High School in 1955 and received a B.S. degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1959.
She worked as a school nurse teacher for approximately 30 years, the last of
14 of which were at Sacred Heart RC School in N. Merrick. She was loved,
admired, and respected by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her
family and friends. Reposing after 2 pm Saturday Charles J. O'Shea Funeral
Home 603 Wantagh Ave (Exit 28N SS Pkwy) Wantagh. Funeral mass Monday 9:45am
