Espersen, Bertha (Bea)
ESPERSEN-Bertha (Bea), 86, formerly of Smithtown, NY, died of natural causes
in Maryland, on April 29, 2005. Mrs. Espersen was a first grade teacher for
the Hauppauge School District from 1955 to 1978. Survivors include her three
children, Paul of Smithtown, Peter of Maryland, and Anne Rhodes of Louisiana,
her sister, Louise Grassman;  five grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be in the Fresh Pond Columbarium in Middle
Village, NY, with her husband, Bruno Espersen who died in 1950.

Giugliano, Pasquale
GIUGLIANO-Pasquale of New Hyde Park, on May 23, 2005, in his 95th year,
peacefully of natural causes. Born in Torre Del Greco, Italy, in 1909 to Luisa
and Angelo. Devoted husband of the late Agnes Giugliano and beloved father of
Angelo, Frank, Pasquale Jr., Carmine, William, Louise and Marie. Pasquale
welcomed 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren (with 2 more on the way) into
the world. He is also survived by his brothers John and Albert. He retired as
a Supervisor in the North Hempstead Highway Department and his tireless work
ethic was the foundation of two family businesses. Supreme gardener, arborist,
engineer, inventor, wine maker, and gourmand. His legacy will be carried by
the countless lives which he touched. In lieu of flowers, the family has

Hospital, Pediatric Oncology, HSC Tower II, Room 020, Stony Brook, NY 11794.

1918 in Glen Cove, N.Y. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army and service
in the Pacific for 3« years. He was also the Postmaster of Albertson, N.Y. for
25 years and retired in April, 1976. Survivors include his wife Connie; his
two daughters MaryLou Guinta, Lynbrook, N.Y. and Candida Russo, New Port
Richey; three sons, Nicholas and his wife Cynthia, Hicksville, N.Y., John and

FL., where he and Eleanor retired to in 1991. He is survived by daughters;
Kathleen Brookline, MA., and Patricia Christophersen (Chuck) Bayport, NY.,
sons; Steven KC, MO., James and Robert, Maui, HI., and Thomas Charlotte, NC.,
and brother; Bernard (Dorothy) Kwiatkowski, Massapequa Park. He was truly the
proud grandpa of his first grandson; Ethan Christophersen. A Memorial Mass in
