Towns community and throughout New York as a funeral director. Upon retiring

KAY-George V., 81 years, on April 21, 2005. Joined with his beloved wife
Eleanor, married 52 years. Born in Flushing, NY, was an Army Veteran of WWII,
and retired accountant. He raised his family in Massapequa Park, was a life
long active member of OLL Church, Massapequa Park, and also OLL Daytona Beach,
FL., where he and Eleanor retired to in 1991. He is survived by daughters;
Kathleen Brookline, MA., and Patricia Christophersen (Chuck) Bayport, NY.,
sons; Steven KC, MO., James and Robert, Maui, HI., and Thomas Charlotte, NC.,
and brother; Bernard (Dorothy) Kwiatkowski, Massapequa Park. He was truly the
proud grandpa of his first grandson; Ethan Christophersen. A Memorial Mass in
his honor will be held on Monday July 25, 2005 at 11 A.M., St. Rose of Lima
Church, Massapequa.

McLaughlin, Harold J.
McLAUGHLIN-Harold J., 90, the former General Assistant Superintendent for the
Metropolitan Transit Authority from 1965 to 1977, died Sunday May 22, 2005 in
Hudson, New York. He is survived by his wife, Helene, of 60 years; two sons,
Robert and Richard; daughter, Maureen Lucia; eight grandchildren, and three
great-grandchildren. Mr. McLaughlin was a Purple Heart Veteran of World War
II. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council 3263. Mr.
McLaughlin was a member of the Emerald Society NYCT. He will be waked at the
T.F. Dalton Funeral Home at 125 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, New York,
11040 from 2-5PM and 79:30PM Wednesday and Thursday. The Funeral Mass will be
at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church at 258-15 80th Avenue, Floral Park,

survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was a member of
the Bay Shore Garden Club for over 40 years and was a volunteer at Southside
