ALESSIO-John, of Northport, passed away on September 19, 2005, in his 88th
year. He is survived by Elizabeth, his beloved wife of 66 years. He is also
survived by his three sons, John (Barbara), Frank (Patricia) and Robert
(Melissa). He is the brother of Anna (Frank) Coschignano, the late Frank
(Barbara), Julia (the late Joseph) Carbone, the late Lena and Wolfgang Nauke,
Rose (Salvatore) Barbato, Camella (Frank) Lepera, Rita (Joseph) Lupo and
Jeanette Klimszewski, grandfather to John Jr., Kathleen Selleck, Dawn, Debra
McBride, Sherilyn Ferdinando, Robert Jr., and Jeffrey, uncle to many nieces
and nephews and great grandfather of seven. He served in the U.S. Army in the
Philippines during WW II. He was the former owner and President of Alessio
Pipe and Construction Co., Inc., until his semi retirement in 1994. Visitation
Wednesday and Thursday 2-5PM and 7-9PM at A.L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, 1380 New
York Avenue, Huntington Station. Interment at Melville Cemetery. Donations may
