No. 797.053 Affidavit Ward Mosher Pastor, State St. Church, Ithaca Claim No. 797.053 State of New York County of Tompkins On this 29th day of December, 1903, before me, a Notary Public in and for said County, personally appeared Ward Mosher, who being duly sworn, deposes and says that he resides in The City of Ithaca County of Tompkins and State of New York; that he is Pastor of the State Street Methodist Episcopal Church, located in Ithaca in the last named County, and custodian of the records thereof; that the following is a true copy of an extract from the record of Marriage Record of such Church viz: - I certify that the following is a true copy of the Marriage Record taken from the Church Records of which I am Custodian. - Names of Parties, Residences, Officiating Minister Feb, 15, 1874 Stephen Williams, Ithaca, N.Y., Daniel D. Buck & Maria Egan, Ithaca, N.Y., Daniel D. Buck At the Parsonage, Mr. Wilmot, Mrs. Wilmot and others present. - On the 21st of Dec. 1903 I officiated at the funeral of Stephen Williams at 333 South Geneva St., Ithaca, N.Y. - Deponent further says he has no interest in the prosecution of any claim in behalf of any of the parties, directly or indirectly. The funeral and burial commenced on 21 December 1903. Burial was at Lakeview Cemetery, Ithaca, NY. - This affadavit was for Maria M. Williams in order for her to receive her Widow's Pension. Stephen Williams was a veteran from the Civil War. He participated in the 1st and 2nd Battles of Bull Run. - Copy of Affadavit received in the full Civil War Pension File of Stephen Williams, Tompkins County, Ithaca, NY from the National Archives and Records Administration.
