First I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God believing ?????? of ????? and everlasting life by the ???????? and death of Jesus Christ my Lord and only Saviour. ???? I give and bequeath unto my eldest son Simon and to his heirs and assigns forever All that Lot or farm of Land whereon he now lives containing one hundred and eighty acres by me purchased of Samuel Erwin being part of a tract of Land granted by patent to Peter Barberie Also all that lot of fifty acres be me purchased of Marcus Oostrander, being part of a tract granted by patent to Richard Bradley, Esq. and William Jevan together with the appurtenances unto the same belonging. Also I give and ???? unto my grandson Lawerance (eldest son of my son Johannis) and to his heirs and assigns forever All that lot or parcel of land containing one hundred and ten acres lately by me purchased of Gualtherus Dubois lying on the northeast side of the land now of Johannis Weller within a tract of land granted to William Huddleston with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging. Also I give and devise unto my said son Johannis and to his heirs and assigns forever all that my farm whereon I now live containing three hundred and ten acres by me purchased of Gualtherus Dubois and Elizabeth Dubois lying within the said tract granted to William Huddleston together with the buildings and appurtenances thereunto belonging. Also the residue and remainder of my Estate both real and personal (after my just debts and funeral charges being paid out of the same) whatsoever whereof I ????? and ?????. Provided nevertheless, and it is my will and meaning that my said son Johannes his heirs or administrators shall well and truly pay unto my five daughters, their respective executors, administrators or assigns the following legacies. That is to say, unto my daughter Elizabeth, the wife of John Tearpenning, the sum of forty pounds, current money of New York and unto my daughter Catherine, the wife of Johannis Krans, the like sum of forty pounds to be paid unto them respectively within the term of one year next after my decease. Also, unto my daughter Mary, wife of Samuel Tearpenning the like sum of forty pounds and unto my daughter Margeret, the wife of Lawrence Cronk the sum of forty pounds to be paid unto my said two daughters Mary and Margeret at the expiration of two years next after my decease. Also unto my daughter Geertruyd the wife of Samuel Erwin the sum of forty pounds current money aforesaid, and my said daughter Geertruyd being long since removed out of these parts and I not having heard of her for many years past, and being uncertain whether she may ever return. I do therefore order and direct my said son Johannis his heirs Executors or Administrators to pay the said sum at such time after my decease when my said daughter Geertruyd or her legal heirs, properly authorized shall personally return to this place and demand the same provided such demand be made within seven years of my decease, and in case if default should be made in such demand within said term of seven years then the legacy to be void. And further I do make that part of my personal and Real Estate so devised and bequeathed unto Johannis chargeable with the said sums to be made payable unto my said five daughters. And lastly I do nominate and appoint my said son Johannis and my friend Levy Doyoo and the ?????? of them to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
