(Bullard) HUDSON FALLS -- Elaine V. (Bullard) Allen, 43, of Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her brother, Carl, and sister-in-law, Michele's, home at Elizabeth Street in Hudson Falls. Born on March 21, 1962, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Carl Bullard Sr. of Purcell, Okla., and Nancy LaVigne of Glens Falls. Elaine graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1980. She worked as a home health aide in the area for many years. Elaine was a nurse at heart. When her grandson, Christian was born, she helped in his delivery. At one time, Elaine was employed at Kmart in Queensbury and as a cashier for Auto Zone in Georgia. Elaine loved decorating with owls and going on car trips with her daughter, Aimee. Elaine was a tomboy by definition, enjoying fishing, camping with her family and dabbling with car repair. She was predeceased by many aunts and uncles, her maternal grandfather, Milford T. Eggleston and her paternal grandparents, William and Edith Bullard. Survivors besides her parents include her maternal grandmother, Eleanor Eggleston of Fort Edward; three children, Crystal Bullard Gaines and her husband, Mark, of Clarksville, Ga., Aimee E. Colegrove and Jeffery B. Colegrove, both of Glens Falls; two grandchildren, Christian Shubert and Caleb Gaines; her brothers and sisters, Carl A. Bullard Jr. and his wife, Michele, of Hudson Falls, Master Sgt. Keith A. Bullard and his wife, Tersea, of New Mexico, Kevin J. Bullard and his wife, Rochelle, of South Glens Falls, Kenneth J. Bullard and his wife, Missy, of Hudson Falls, and Christine M. Thompson and her husband, Michael J., of Glens Falls; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Born Oct. 9, 1922, in Fort Edward, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Maria (Corsale) Catone. Mr. Catone survived the Japanese attack of Hickham Field, Pearl Harbor, and served in World War II. He was employed by the Delaware and Hudson Railroad, and worked construction for Labor Local 186. Angelo was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Fort Edward, and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and hunting. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ann (Gregory) Catone; three sisters, Mary Warren, Madeline Munoff, and Christine Murray; six brothers, Henry Catone, Patsy Catone, Diamond Catone, Anthony Catone, Sylvester Catone and Nicholas Catone. Emerson, Zenna Bonnie BOCA RATON, Fla., and LAKE GEORGE -- Zenna Bonnie Emerson, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Lake George, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 5, 2005. She was born near Lexington, Ky., to William Branceford and Lucy Jane Huddleston on Oct. 20, 1918. Bonnie owned and operated the Bonnie View Resort on Lake George in the 1950s and '60s and was since in the business of investments. She was the widow of Albert L. Emerson of Warrensburg. Bonnie served 16 years on the Board of Directors of the Emerson National Bank and the Advisory Board of State Bank of Albany. She was a former member of the Glens Falls Country Club for 30 years and a benefactor of St. Jude Children's Hospital. Survivors include her son, Bernard Dale Bennett (Donna) of Tempe, Ariz.; one sister, Ruby L. Kirk of Crawfordsville, Ind.; two brothers, Robert D. Huddleston (Shirley) of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Edward M. Huddleston, Fort Worth, Texas. Another son, William B. Emerson, of Coral Springs, Fla., pre-deceased her in 2001. Other survivors include five grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Flack, Leon G. GRANVILLE -- Leon G. Flack, known on the CB as Country Squire, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Leon was born on Feb. 26, 1938, in Poultney, Vt., the son of Frank and Bertha (Shepard) Flack. Leon worked at Sheldon Slate as a slate splitter for 21 years. He was a 37-year member of the Henry Hose Fire Department and served as captain of the Granville Fire Police. He was also a member of the Washington County Fire Police. Over the years, Leon had worked as a part-time police officer for the Granville Police Department. Leon was predeceased by a brother, Robert Flack; his parents; and his stepmother, Theresa Flack. Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Roberts) Flack; a son, Brian Flack and his wife, Tina, of Longmont, Colo.; three daughters: Sue Gandrow of Hague, Melinda Halloway of Florida and Kim Flack of Granville; a stepdaughter, Christine Krawczyk; a sister, Betty Dolback and her husband, Edward, of Crown Point; three brothers: David Flack and Edwin Flack, both of Ticonderoga and Clayton Flack of Chambersburg, Pa.; and two stepbrothers, Scott Flack of Keesville and Norman Flack of Brandon, Vt. Foote, Ralph Wilton NORTH CREEK -- Ralph Wilton Foote, 86, of 62 Walter Foote Road, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005, at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, North Creek. Born Sept. 10, 1919, in North Creek, town of Chester, he was the son of Walter Douglas and Rose Mary (Goodspeed) Foote. Ralph graduated from Pottersville Central School Class of 1939. On Nov. 25, 1942, Ralph was inducted into the Army Air Corps. He received his honorable discharge on Feb. 13, 1946. He was in the 965 Echelon, Mech. Auto Wheel Veh. 3. He qualified with the M1 and MKM 158. He received the American Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal. The interesting note is, that Ralph only had one eye; he lost the eyesight in his right eye when he was a young lad. He used to tell that when took the eye test to enter the military, he peeked through the fingers to read the eye chart. After military service and like many other Adirondack boys, he returned to the mountains and the love of the outdoors. Ralph liked to fish, but hunting was at the top of the list. He was a charter member of the Ragged Mt. Fish and Game Club, also a former member of the Glendale Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Pottersville. During his employment career, he worked as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator. He worked for Blue Ridge Lumber Co., North Hudson, N.Y., North Creek Trucking Co., North Creek. He worked on construction for L. Mayersen & Lone, Lane Construction Co., S.J. Grooves, Callahan Construction Co., and others while construction of the Plattsburgh air base, Gilboa Dam and the Northway were being built. Mr. Foote is predeceased by his parents and brothers, George Foote, Leonard (Bob) Foote, and Edward Foote; sisters, Henrietta Murphy and Beatrice Owens. Survivors include, a longtime companion, Leta Moulton; nephews and nieces, Robert Foote and his wife, Vivian, of Minerva, Philip Foot of North Creek, Brian Foote and his companion, Bonnie Bisaillon of North Creek, June A. Greenhill, 93, of The Glen on Meadow Brook Road, died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital following a short illness. Born on Aug. 13, 1911, in Redditch, England he was the son of the late George and Clara (Moberley) Greenhill. Mr. Greenhill graduated from Troy High School in 1931. He married Jean D. Winne on Aug. 20, 1933, in Cohoes. The couple resided in Pittsfield, Mass., for 17 years, before moving to Corinth in 1951. In 1955, they then moved to the Glens Falls region, where they have lived ever since. Mr. Greenhill was employed at the Woolworth Department Store in Troy, and in Cohoes and Pittsfield, Mass., for six years. He then was employed by General Electric in Pittsfield and in Hudson Falls for 17 years, and worked for 20 years for Prudential Insurance in Glens Falls until his retirement in 1976. Mr. Greenhill was a member of the Queensbury United Methodist for many years and was a former member of Christ Methodist Church of Glens Falls. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, gardening, classical music, listening to his wife playing the piano and vacationing at Wells Beach, Maine. Besides his parents, one sister, Winifred Mudar, and one brother, Frederick Greenhill, died before him. Survivors besides his wife of 71 years include four daughters, Carol Hudson and her husband, John, of Niskayuna, Nancy Casey and her husband, Fran, of Queensbury, Barbara Eckenfelder and her husband, Donald, of Queensbury, and Joanna Bock and her husband, Dave, of Ithaca; one son, Jon Greenhill and his wife, Karen, of Boca Raton, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two nieces. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the United Methodist Church of Queensbury, Aviation Road, Queensbury, with the Rev. Rich Weihing, pastor, officiating. "Bubby" LAKE GEORGE and QUEENSBURY -- Edward "Bubby" F. Moon, 67, of Warren Lane, Queensbury, and formerly of Lake George, passed away Thursday evening, April 7, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital, following a short illness. Born July 14, 1937, in Warrensburg, he was the son of the late Jesse "Foster" and Golda M. (Barrett) Moon. Being raised in the Lake George area, he attended Lake George School systems. He worked dedicated hours most of his life at various places of employment throughout the area, with Glens Falls Hospital being one of his most recent jobs, working in the housekeeping department, retiring in 1992. "Bubby," as he was fondly known to many, had the opportunity to travel the countryside, with Florida being one of his most favorite states. He also loved to fish, listen to country music, raise Cain, and looked forward to a good cup of coffee, or two, at Bill's Restaurant in Warrensburg amongst his many friends and acquaintances he met there on a daily basis. His friends and family will forever miss him and his great sense of humor. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Lester Moon, a sister, Barbara Hayes, and a niece, Barbara Moon. Survivors include one brother, Clifton Moon Sr. of Lake George; many nieces and nephews, with special mention to Clifton Moon Jr., Rodney Moon, and Sissy Rosa; some cousins; many dear friends; and his buddy Sporter, the dog. Kay was born on Sept. 25, 1932, in Granville, the daughter of George and Esther (Ely) Andrews. Kay was retired from Sherwood Medical, where she had worked for 38 years. She enjoyed working, playing hand-held games, watching cooking shows, country music, and spending time with her family. Kay was predeceased by a son, George Van Guilder, and two brothers, George Andrews Jr. and David Andrews; her paternal grandparents, David and Rose Andrews; and maternal grandparents, Frank and Agnes Ely. Kay is survived by a son, Mark Smith and his longtime companion, Phyllis Mercure, of Granville; a stepson, August Smith Jr. and his wife, Debbie; two daughters, Kathy Dirga and her husband, Andy, of Granville, and Susan Devino of Glens Falls; four brothers: Raymond Andrews of Hebron, Richard Andrews and his wife, Virginia, Daniel Andrews of Hebron and Aden Andrews; and three sisters, Beverly Priest of Granville, Barbara Loveland and her husband, Gordan, of Tennessee, and Marjorie Catellier and her husband, Dale, of Fueva Brush.
