In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Robert John Brooks III of Hudson Falls; her maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Stone of Hudson Falls; her maternal great-grandmother, Rita Boisclair of Salem; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Gail Brooks of Wilton; her paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Filkins of Mechanicville; her maternal grandfather, Larry Johnson Sr. of Argyle; several aunts and uncles; four special cousins, Michael and John Wood of Argyle and Randy and John of Hudson Falls; and several more cousins. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., in Hudson Falls. Kitchner, 88, of Lower Wright Street, Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1917, in Hampton, Va., he was the son of the late Louis and Martha (Rollins) Kitchner. On Sept. 1, 1940, he married Helen Chadwick of Greenwich. Shortly after marriage, Clifton was employed by the Postal Telegraph Company as a typist, later, working at D&H Railroad Company as a fireman, then, for many years, was employed as a machinist at Scott Paper, now known as Irving Tissue, of Fort Edward, followed by Glens Falls Country Club as a greens keeper, also for many years, until his retirement. Some of his enjoyments include golfing, fishing, being around people, reminiscing the old days, and most of all, spending time with his family. Besides his parents, and all his siblings but one sister, Clifton was predeceased by his wife, Helen, who passed away December 2004. Survivors include one son, David Kitchner and his lifelong partner, Sharon LaFreniere, both of Hudson Falls; two daughters, Judith Rhodes and her husband, David, of Hudson Falls, and Linda Jabaut and her husband, Robert, of Glens Falls; one granddaughter, Roxanne Brown of Glens Falls; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Florence Suttle of Fort Edward; and several nieces, and nephews. Friends are invited to call upon the family anytime throughout the day, on Saturday, April 30, at the family's home, 510 Lower Wright St., Hudson Falls. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the family home following the calling hours, with nephew, the Rev. Louis Kitchner, officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Foote and his staff, with special recognition to Donna Prime, and also to the Washington County Public Health staff for all their professional care and comfort given to Mr. Kitchner during his time of illness until his untimely passing. "Gerry" HEBRON -- Gerald G. "Gerry" Markham Sr., 69, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April, 19, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 1935, in Granville, Vt., the son of Glen Markham Sr. and Marion (Leslie) Markham. Gerry was a graduate of Salem Central School. He was a lifelong tool and die maker employed by several local companies, including Sheridan Catheter, Sherwood Medical and Doty Machine Shop. He was a member of the West Hebron United Methodist Church, The Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Sons of the American Legion. Gerry enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening and food sales. He will be remembered for his many kindnesses to the elderly in the community, his smile and sense of humor. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Jackie, and one brother, Clyde Markham. Survivors include one daughter, Janette Markham of South Glens Falls; four sons: Gerald Markham Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Skaneateles; Terry Markham and his wife, Tonya, of Hudson Falls; Kevin Markham and his wife, Pam, of Glens Falls and Gary Luckette of Kirkville; one sister, Patricia Coon and her husband, Dave, of Chittenango; one brother, Glen Markham of Glens Falls; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Vinskus, Richard COCOA BEACH, Fla. -- Richard Vinskus, 51, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 9, 2005, at his home in Cocoa Beach, Fla. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Schroon Lake, with the Rev. Richard Sturtz, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, officiating. Willett, 83, of Pilot Knob, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at her home surrounded by her loving family following a long illness. Born in 1921, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Lucille Dunn. Helen graduated from St. Mary's Academy of Glens Falls. She married Charles Willett April 4, 1942. For many years Helen was an instructor and coordinator of the Warren County EMS classes. For her, it was a rewarding second career after raising her family. She was also a member for many years and held various offices at North Queensbury Rescue Squad. Besides her parents, her loving husband of 45 years, Charles "Chuck" Willett, who passed away in 1987, predeceased her. Survivors include her four sons, Charles "Chuck" Willett and his companion, Nancy Mickel, of Fort Edward, Gary Willett and his life partner, Jennifer Whitaker, of Pilot Knob, Robert "Bob" Willett and his wife, Bonnie, of Corinth, and Thomas "Tom" Willett and his fiance‚, Meredith Buckles, of Saratoga Springs; two daughters, Nancy Willett of Pilot Knob and her companion, Bill Tracy, and Jeanne Schultz and her husband, Daniel, of Saratoga Springs; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Barbara Bombard and her family of Lake George; one aunt, Annabelle West of Queensbury; her special cousin, Doris Newton, also of Queensbury, and many other cousins; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many dear long-time friends. At Helen's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Relatives and friends are requested to join her children for a celebration of her life which will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. at the family home, 4507 Willett Boulevard, Pilot Knob. The family suggests memorial donations, in loving memory of Helen, may be made to North Queensbury Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 272, Cleverdale, NY 12820 or to a charity of one's choice.
