In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Robert John Brooks III of Hudson Falls; her maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Stone of Hudson Falls; her maternal great-grandmother, Rita Boisclair of Salem; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Gail Brooks of Wilton; her paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Filkins of Mechanicville; her maternal grandfather, Larry Johnson Sr. of Argyle; several aunts and uncles; four special cousins, Michael and John Wood of Argyle and Randy and John of Hudson Falls; and several more cousins. Creedon, 77, a resident of Queensbury, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at his residence following a short illness. Born in Glens Falls, on Aug. 21, 1927, he was the son of the late Neil J. and Bernice (Hopkins) Creedon. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Marine Corp. Jack was married Feb. 15, 1948, to the late Lucille S. Creedon. They just recently celebrated 57 years of marriage. He retired from Niagara Mohawk after 25 years of service. Following his retirement John was very active with community service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling extensively; and was a member of the Glens Falls BPOE Lodge 81. Jack was predeceased by his wife Lucille, who passed away on Feb. 22, 2005; a son, Barry Creedon; a daughter, Carol Ann Creedon Keyes; his brother, Barry Creedon; his sister, Dorothea Robillard; and brother-in-law, Harold Dorrer. Survivors include his grandson, Daniel Keyes and his wife, Johanna; and his great-granddaughter, Quinn Keyes of Gettysburg, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Karen Creedon of Gloversville; a sister, Elinor Dorrer of South Glens Falls; and a brother-in-law, Donald W. Robillard of South Glens Falls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 23, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, Queensbury. Duell, 85, a former resident of the Town of Moreau, died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Indian River Nursing Home, Granville. Born on March 17, 1920, in Northumberland, he was the third child of 13 children born to the late James and Laurette Hazel (Wykes) Duell. He owned and operated Duells Garage in the Town of Moreau from 1946 to his retirement in 1995. Fred attended Argyle Central School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II in the European Theater. Fred was a member of the South Glens Falls American Legion, Mohawk Post 553. He enjoyed taking Sunday rides and spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, William Keith Duell in 1966; two brothers, Charles and Warren Duell; and one sister, Hazel Palmer. Survivors include his wife, Avonelle (Trout) Duell of Eden Park Nursing Home. Frederick and Avonelle were married on Sept. 5, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Ind. Survivors also include two sons, Gregory Duell and his wife, Carolyn, of town of Moreau, and Douglas Duell and his wife, Diane, of Troy; a daughter, Sandra Rose and her husband, Robert, of Lake Luzerne; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; three brothers; six sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Dullahan, Elma Glens Falls -- Miss Elma Dullahan a lifelong resident of Glens Falls passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Westmount Health Facility. Born Feb. 7, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Moynihan) Dullahan. Miss Dullahan was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a graduate of St. Mary's Academy. Following her retirement from General Electric she did volunteer work in community projects. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Nelson, and Marjorie Williams; and a brother, Roland Dullahan. Miss Dullahan is survived by three nieces, and one nephew. At her request there will be no calling hours. Burial will be private at St. Mary's Cemetery, South Glens Falls. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. and HUDSON FALLS -- Dale J. Jarvis, 73, of Daytona Beach, Fla. and formerly of Hudson Falls, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange, Fla., following a long illness. He was born on April 15, 1932, in Glens Falls, the son the late Charles and Beatrice (Monroe) Jarvis. Dale was a graduate of the Glens Falls High School and served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. On Oct. 28, 1951, he married the former Florence A. Battiste in St. Mary's Church in Hudson Falls. Dale worked for Local 773, in Glens Falls, as a pipe fitter for many years. He was a communicant of Eppihany Catholic Church in Port Orange, Fla. as well as Elks Lodge 2723 in Port Orange, Fla. and American Legion Post 0553 in South Glens Falls. His enjoyments included golf, bowling, playing bingo, and going on casino boat junkets. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Raymond Jarvis and Donald Jarvis, as well as a sister, Carolyn Mattison, all passed away before him. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Florence Jarvis of Daytona Beach, Fla.; his two sons, Rick Jarvis and his wife, Patricia, of Hudson Falls and David Jarvis and his wife, Gay, of Queensbury; his four grandchildren, Nora Jarvis, Nathan Jarvis, Katie Jarvis and Kevin Jarvis; a brother, Charles Jarvis and his wife, Vivian, of West Glens Falls; and several nieces and nephews. Published in the Post-Star on 4/22/2005. Jones, Earl C. Day -- Earl C. Jones, age 77, of Kathan Road, died Wednesday afternoon, April 20, 2005, at his home. Born on March 28, 1928, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Earl C. Jones Sr. and Eva (Daniels) Jones. Earl enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 16 to serve during World War II. He participated in the action against the enemy at Okinawa as well as the occupation of Japan and was awarded a Purple Heart. He then enlisted in the United States Naval reserves. Upon completion of his military duties, Earl returned to Milford High School in Milford, Ohio to earn his high school diploma. He then attended Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. He married Sally Brown on May 26, 1951, in Chicago, Ill. Earl was employed as Plant and Parts Manager for Volvo of North America, Rockleigh, N.J. for many years prior to his retirement in 1990. In 1989, Earl and Sally bought property on Lake Sacandaga and built their home in the town of Day. He was a member of the Hadley-Luzerne Lions Club and an active member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Lake Luzerne where he had served as Sr. Warden for many years, served on the church vestry and as treasurer and chairman of the church restoration fund. Earl loved his family dearly. He enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren out on his boat. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing poker with his poker club and playing golf with the "Kathan Group". Earl will be greatly missed by his loving friends and family. His faith, strength and courage were an inspiration to all who knew him and his sense of humor will continue to make them laugh as all the memories are kept in their hearts. They will miss him greatly but know he is always standing by their side filling them with love. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Sally Jones; two daughters, Gail Selfridge and her husband, Frederick, of Walden, Janice Jones of Reston, Va.; one son, Laurence Jones and his wife, Patti, of Findlay, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Eric Selfridge and his wife, Nicole, Allison Selfridge, LeeAnne Selfridge, Kelli Jones, Julia Jones, Will Jones, and Oksana Jones; one great -granddaughter, Eva Grace Selfridge; two nephews, Curtis Diedrich and Frederick Diedrich; four great- nephews; a sister-in-law, Ada Diedrich and her husband, Richard, of Marshfield, Mass. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Lake Luzerne with the Very Rev. William Love, Rector, officiating. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Columbarium, Lake Luzerne. Kitchner, 88, of Lower Wright Street, Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1917, in Hampton, Va., he was the son of the late Louis and Martha (Rollins) Kitchner. On Sept. 1, 1940, he married Helen Chadwick of Greenwich. Shortly after marriage, Clifton was employed by the Postal Telegraph Company as a typist, later, working at D&H Railroad Company as a fireman, then, for many years, was employed as a machinist at Scott Paper, now known as Irving Tissue, of Fort Edward, followed by Glens Falls Country Club as a greens keeper, also for many years, until his retirement. Some of his enjoyments include golfing, fishing, being around people, reminiscing the old days, and most of all, spending time with his family. Besides his parents, and all his siblings but one sister, Clifton was predeceased by his wife, Helen, who passed away December 2004. Survivors include one son, David Kitchner and his lifelong partner, Sharon LaFreniere, both of Hudson Falls; two daughters, Judith Rhodes and her husband, David, of Hudson Falls, and Linda Jabaut and her husband, Robert, of Glens Falls; one granddaughter, Roxanne Brown of Glens Falls; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Florence Suttle of Fort Edward; and several nieces, and nephews. Friends are invited to call upon the family anytime throughout the day, on Saturday, April 30, at the family's home, 510 Lower Wright St., Hudson Falls. McLaughlin, Anna Lillian (Drinkwine) Ticonderoga -- Anna Lillian (Drinkwine) McLaughlin, 82, of Lord Howe Street, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at her residence. Born in Witherbee, June 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Christie (Genier) Drinkwine. Mrs. McLaughlin was a graduate of Witherbee High School. She has been a resident of Ticonderoga for many years and was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ticonderoga. She was employed by J.J. Newberry's of Ticonderoga for many years. She then became a Home Health Aid for Essex County. She was predeceased by one daughter, Melissa McLaughlin in 1979. Survivors include one daughter, Kathi Horowitz of New Jersey; one niece, Shirley Carey of Ticonderoga; and one nephew, Raymond Snyder of Hague. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the family plot of the Valley View Cemetery of Ticonderoga. The Rev. William G. Vinskus, Richard "Rick" Cocoa Beach, Fla. -- Richard "Rick" Vinskus, 51, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 9, 2005, at his home in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Born May 6, 1953, in Bay Shore, Long Island, N.Y., he was the beloved son of Vincent and Sarah "Sally" Vinskus. He attended and graduated from Bay Shore High School, Bay Shore, Long Island. Rick was self-employed working for several home improvement companies throughout the Cocoa Beach area. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as boating, fishing, and traveling. He loved the ocean and the warm weather. Most of all, he was a devoted father to Alycia Donnelly of Virginia, whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his two brothers, David Vinskus who passed away in 1956, and Charles Vinskus who passed away in 1984. Besides his loving parents, Vincent and Sally Vinskus of Schroon Lake, Rick is survived by his three sisters, Karen Forte of Amityville, Long Island, Delia Vinskus of Fort Edward, and Joanne Gould and her husband, Lance, of Schroon Lake; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and one great-nephew. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Schroon Lake, with the Rev. Richard Sturtz, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, officiating. Willett, 83, of Pilot Knob, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at her home surrounded by her loving family following a long illness. Born in 1921, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Lucille Dunn. Helen graduated from St. Mary's Academy of Glens Falls. She married Charles Willett April 4, 1942. For many years Helen was an instructor and coordinator of the Warren County EMS classes. For her, it was a rewarding second career after raising her family. She was also a member for many years and held various offices at North Queensbury Rescue Squad. Besides her parents, her loving husband of 45 years, Charles "Chuck" Willett, who passed away in 1987, predeceased her. Survivors include her four sons, Charles "Chuck" Willett and his companion, Nancy Mickel, of Fort Edward, Gary Willett and his life partner, Jennifer Whitaker, of Pilot Knob, Robert "Bob" Willett and his wife, Bonnie, of Corinth, and Thomas "Tom" Willett and his fiance‚, Meredith Buckles, of Saratoga Springs; two daughters, Nancy Willett of Pilot Knob and her companion, Bill Tracy, and Jeanne Schultz and her husband, Daniel, of Saratoga Springs; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Barbara Bombard and her family of Lake George; one aunt, Annabelle West of Queensbury; her special cousin, Doris Newton, also of Queensbury, and many other cousins; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many dear long-time friends. At Helen's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
