QUEENSBURY -- Maureen R. Lilley, 57, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a very courageous battle with cancer. Born Nov. 6, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Daniel G. Riley and Eileen (Malone) Riley of Pleasantville, N.J. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Cathedral High School in Trenton, N.J., and a 1969 graduate of St. Francis College in Loretta, Pa. Maureen married Donald F. Lilley on April 24, 1971. She taught in Jackson, N.J., and Saratoga Springs School District for 11 years. Her father, Daniel G. Riley, predeceased her. Maureen's eldest sister, Eileen Riley Dilley, also died before her. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Donald F. Lilley of Queensbury; two daughters, Janeen, 20 and Kathleen, 19 of Queensbury; her mother, Eileen Riley of Pleasantville, N.J.; three sisters, Catherine Lonergan and her husband, Ed, of Sewell, N.J., Nancy Sutor and her husband, Robert, of Atlantic City, N.J., and Colleen Riley of Ventor, N.J.; one sister-in-law, Sharon Washko and her husband, Jack, of Venice, Fla.; three brothers-in-law, Edward F. Lilley and his wife, Linda, of Washington, N.J., Brian A. Lilley and his wife, Mary, of Bricktown, N.J., and W. Stanley Dilley of Bethesda, Md.; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at St. Mary's Church, Glens Falls. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Sullivan-Minahan & Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury. GLENS FALLS -- Florence E. Ross, 83, died on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Florence was born on July 6, 1921, in Saratoga Springs, to the late Floyd and Martha (McDonald) LaFountain. She was a home health aide for the Adirondack Home Care in Glens Falls. Florence was a deacon, secretary and youth group leader at the West Glens Falls Community Chapel. She was also a member of the VFW auxiliary and was a Girl Scout leader in 1942. She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar W. Ross, and two daughters, Jo-Ann Mead and Sharon Mosley. Florence is survived by her children: John W. Ross and his wife, Patricia, of Loudonville, Phillip D. Ross of Colorado, and Cynthia L. Schaw of Mulberry, Fla.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the West Glens Falls Fire House with a reception to follow. Tucker II, 36, of Third Avenue, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born on Jan. 17, 1969, in Troy, he was the son of Sandra (St. Jock) Tucker and Clarence F. Tucker Sr. Clarence worked for Pinnacle Remodeling for about 12 years. He was a hard worker, an avid pool player and enjoyed darts and putting models together. Clarence was an all-around handyman who could make something out of nothing. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Roger St. Jock, his paternal grandfather, John F. Tucker and his paternal grandmother, Claudia Tucker. Survivors include his parents, Sandra Tucker of Middlebury, Vt., his father, Clarence F. Tucker Sr. and his wife, Margaret, of Malta; his maternal grandmother, Velma St. Jock and her husband, Roger, of Troy; three sons: James and Terrance Miles of Troy and Tr‚ Tucker of Hudson Falls; a daughter, Mercedes Tucker of Hudson Falls; his companion, Wanda Smith of Hudson Falls; his brothers and sisters: Keith Bakerian and his wife, Cathy, of Whitehall and Roger Tucker of Middlebury, Vt., Debra Burt and her husband, Kenneth, of Ballston Spa and Elizabeth "Betty Boop" Burt and her husband, Luis, of Malta; John Tucker and his significant other, Erica Paquette, of Middlebury, Vt., and Velma Bennett and her husband, Kenneth, of Middlebury, Vt.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday following the calling hours at the funeral home, with the Rev. Victor Owan, associate pastor of St. Mary's/St. Paul's Church, officiating.
