Born Sept. 17, 1948, in Fulton, N.Y., he was the son of Dina (Le Blanc) Koliada, and the late John Koliada of Fulton. Ken and Mary (Kostoroski) were married on Aug. 23, 1969, at the St. Peter's Church in Oswego. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1975. Ken spent many years working as an operations manager for the Field Service Unit of the Northeast Region for GATX. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing, and participated in softball and bowling leagues for many years. Survivors include his wife, Mary, of 35 years; four daughters: Kimberly Clark and her husband, Dan, of Oswego, Kristin Arzoumanian of Queensbury, Emily Koliada of Glens Falls, and Amanda Koliada of Queensbury; four grandchildren: Alexis, Lauren, Noah, and Samuel; three sisters: Karen Duda and her husband, Jim, of Dallas, Texas, Debbie Butler and her husband, Curtis, of Dallas, Texas, Lisa Greene and her husband, David, of Fulton; and many friends and family. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St., South Glens Falls. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, Queensbury, with the Rev. Joseph Anselment officiating. A memorial gathering will be held at the Koliada homestead, 649 South 7th St. in Fulton on Sunday, June 5. Published in the Post-Star on 6/2/2005. Lopez, Margarita Renzulli NORWALK, Conn. -- Margarita Renzulli Lopez, 57, died suddenly Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Ellis Hospital. Born and educated in Norwalk, Conn., she was the daughter of Lenora Renzulli of Norwalk, Conn. and the late Armand Renzulli. Margarita was the owner of a landscaping business in Norwalk, Conn, named Lopez and Lopez, for several years. Besides her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Christina Renzulli of Queensbury; her grandson, Zachary Renzulli of Queensbury; and a brother, Michael Renzulli of Connecticut. A gathering will be held to celebrate Margarita life on Friday, June 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 17 Briwood Circle in Queensbury, to which relatives and friends are invited. A service will also be held in Norwalk, Conn. at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions are welcome to assist the family with Margarita's funeral expenses. Olsen, 80, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born on Sept. 17, 1924, in Mount Kisco, N.Y., she was the daughter of Harry and Helen (Christuphersen) Carlson Sr. Ruth retired from AT&T as a telephone operator after many years of service. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Olsen. Survivors include her brother, Harry Carlson Jr. of Lake George; and her half sister, Edith Turner of Massachusetts. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Regan & Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury. Published in the Post-Star from 6/2/2005 - 6/3/2005. Reynolds, Edward A. HUDSON FALLS -- Edward A. Reynolds, 88, of Catherine Street, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital, after a short illness. Born in Richmondville, N.Y., he was the son of the late Ellery and Nellie (Wade) Reynolds. He graduated from Worcester High School, and received a BA from New York State College for Teachers (now SUNY at Albany) and an MS from Cornell University. Ed also did graduate work at Union College and SUNY at Plattsburgh. During World War II, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps, studying at New York University, College of Engineering. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a second lieutenant. Ed served as officer in charge and chief forecaster at several weather stations, including ones in McGuire, N.J. and Lakeland, Fla. Later in the war, Ed was assigned to Iceland, where he was assistant officer in charge of the weather station. After Ed was discharged as a captain, he joined the reserves, where he served for many years, until his retirement as a lieutenant colonel. While serving in Lakeland in 1944, he met and married his wife Beatrice Ford. Ed's first teaching position was in Oriskany, N.Y., from 1938 to 1942. After his service in the Air Force, he came to Hudson Falls in 1946, teaching math and science, until 1956, when Ed was named assistant principal at Hudson Falls Senior High School. He held that position until June 1963, when he became the high school principal, and remained in that position until his retirement in 1976. In addition to his teaching and supervisory duties, Ed was a past president of the Hudson Falls Teachers Association, a past president of the Hudson Falls Kiwanis Club, a member of the New York State Secondary Principal's Association and a member of the New York State Science Teacher's Association. Ed was a very active member of the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir, the Sunday school superintendent, a lay leader and the president of the Board of Trustees. For years, Ed enjoyed gardening, woodworking and attending his grandchildren's activities. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter, Lauren Hawkes. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beatrice (Ford) Reynolds; their four children: Barbara Keyworth and her husband, John, of Hatfield, Mass., Cynthia Lee and her husband, Richard, of Glens Falls, Janet Mahoney and her husband, Raymond, of Glens Falls, and Nancy Hawkes and her husband, Nathan, of Gorham, Maine; eight grandchildren: Joshua Keyworth, Andrea and Jared Lee, Shane, Kaitlyn and Maureen Mahoney and Kelsi and Adam Hawkes. Friends are welcome to call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the United Methodist Church, 227 Main St. in Hudson Falls. Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery in the town of Queensbury. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests that memorials be in the form of contributions to the United Methodist Church, 227 Main St., Hudson Falls, NY 12839 or to the Lauren Hawkes Foundation, 19 Gray Road, Gorham, ME 04038. We would like to thank the late Dr. Richard Hogan who was not only dad's doctor, but also a dear friend, and his daughter, Dr. Amy Hogan-Moulton, who treated dad with the same care and compassion as her father.
