Clifford was the son of Anton and Karen (Vetass) Andersen. He was predeceased by his son, Keith Martin Andersen. Born in Brooklyn on Dec. 19, 1909, Clifford served his country in the United States Navy and the United States Army. He was proud to have been a drill sergeant, training some of America's finest soldiers. For more than 40 years, he managed Hall Street Cold Storage Co. in Brooklyn before retiring in 1970 to his schoolhouse on Cambridge Battenville Road. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Olga Engelsen Andersen; and his daughter, Janet DeCarlo and her husband, David, of Greenwich. Also surviving are six grandchildren and their spouses: Clifford and Jennifer DeCarlo, Eugene DeCarlo and Jennifer Peters, Karen and James Drost, Marie and David Drost, Keith and Jennifer Andersen and David and Juanita Andersen; five great-grandchildren: Lexie and Noah DeCarlo, Jacob Drost, Cody DeCarlo, and Tyler Andersen; and his favorite dog, Skeeter. Clifford was a member of Ashlar Lodge No. 584 Free and Accepted Masons, Royal Arch Masons Federal Chapter No. 10, Oriental Shriners, Horace J. Taber DeMolay and was a Triangle Dad for Fides Triangle No. 24, Masonic Youth. He served as treasurer for the Fancy Feather Poultry Club for many years. Cliff loved his family first and was the kindest person and the best "OPA" in the world. He will be remembered for his wit and kind spirit. Lorraine Austin, 90, of Lower Dix Avenue, went into the arms of the Lord, on Thursday, June 2, 2005, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Sept. 25, 1914, in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Viola (LaPoint) Mondoux Sr. Lorraine was a 1930 graduate of St. Mary's School in Hudson Falls. She married R. Edgar Austin Sr. on May 11, 1935, at St. Paul's Church in Hudson Falls. He died in 1971. She was a communicant of St. Mary's/St. Paul's Church in Hudson Falls. Lorraine was an excellent cook. She loved spending time with her family, spent many hours watching television and enjoyed tending to her lovely home. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Gary L. Austin; a brother, Joseph Mondoux Jr. and a sister, Bertha Mae Gaulin. Survivors include her son, Richard E. Austin and his wife, Linda D., of Hartford; a sister- in-law, Helen Mondoux of Hudson Falls; three grandsons, Staff Sgt. Jason G. Austin and his fiancee, Janet, of Madison, Ala., Andrew Austin of Warrensburg and Matthew Austin of Hartford; one aunt, Viola Penders of Hudson Falls; three nephews, Michael Mondoux and his fiancee, Susan Meehan, of Hudson Falls, Bernard Gaulin of Hudson Falls and John Gaulin and his wife, Kathy, of Virginia; and one niece, Susan Ringer and her husband, Jeff, of Hudson Falls. KIMBERLY, Wis.u Bryan L. Bovair, 48, of Kimberly, Wis., and formerly of Lake George, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Bryan was born Aug. 26, 1956, in Glens Falls, the son of Israel and Thelma (Pepin) Bovair. He married Linda Ann MacPherson on May 19, 1979, at St. Joseph's Church, Fort Edward. For 25 years Bryan worked as a production controller for William House. He was also employed at Evers' Construction and Realty for seven years. When he was not working, Bryan enjoyed golfing, watching the Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs. Bryan is survived by his wife, Linda, and his two little buddies, Alexis and Morelia; his mother, Thelma; two brothers and a sister: Peter (Jackie) Bovair of Lake George, Ronald (Julie) Bovair of Queensbury, Barbara (Keith) Evans of Independence, Ky.; his father and mother-in-law, Minor and Barbara MacPherson; two godchildren, Tiffany Bovair and her fiance, Todd, and Jeff Caprood; nieces and nephews: Susan Dean, Jason (Danielle) Garret (Tracey) and Ted Bovair, David (Carole) and Christopher Evans, Kimberly Rollo, Joseph (Sonya Saskin) Evans, Megan Evans (fianc‚, Tim), and Peter John "PJ" Bovair. Bryan will also be greatly missed by the Galvan and Gruber families along with numerous other friends. Bryan was preceded in death by his father Israel; his young brother, David and infant sister, Rhoda. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at Christ the Rock Church, Appleton, Wis., with the Rev. David Vande Hey officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. MacDonald, 86, of Moriah, died Friday, June 3, 2005, at Porter Hospital, Middlebury, Vt., with her children at her side. She was born on Nov. 11, 1918, to the late Frank E. and Mae (Cullen) Danaher in Syracuse. On March 28, 1948, she married Allan D. MacDonald at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Orange, N.J. Her husband predeceased her on May 30, 1993. Mrs. MacDonald was a graduate of Westport Central School and Plattsburgh Normal School. She began her teaching career in Mineville in 1941, and retired from Moriah Central School in June 1984. She was a charter member of Sewing Club, secretary of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Elizabethtown-Westport Garden Club, the Moriah Central School Retired Teachers, The New York State Retired Teachers Association and the Red Hat Society. Mrs. MacDonald is survived by her four daughters: Mrs. Gail (George) Pilger of Moriah, Mrs. Allison (Michael) Sharrow of South Glens Falls, Mrs. Jean (Rory) Frazee of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Patricia (David) Hudson of South Glens Falls; one son, Allan D. (Susan) MacDonald of Nashua, N.H.; and six grandchildren: Michael and David Sharrow, Rebecca Hudson, Ariella, Julianne, and Keenan MacDonald. She is also survived by four sisters: Emily Mascola, Genevieve Petricelli, and Frances Whek, all of Toms River, N.J. and Audrey Kole of West Orange, N.J.; two brothers, Nicholas Liguori of Phoenix, Ariz. and Frank E. Danaher of Hamburg, N.J.; one cousin, James Danaher of East Weymouth, Mass, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kristin Margaret Pilger; her sister, Irene Cullen Deeb, and her stepmother, Mildred Danaher. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, June 5, at Harland Funeral Home, Port Henry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church. Seelye, Evelyn (Washburn) KINGSBURY -- Evelyn (Washburn) Seelye, 77, of Vaughn Road, went into the arms of her Lord, on Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. Born on Aug. 1, 1928, in Clemons, she was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and Evelina (Granger) Washburn of Hudson Falls. She graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1946. On June 21, 1947, she married Marshall B. Seelye of Kingsbury at the Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Hudson Falls. Evelyn retired in 1976 from Seelye's Auction House in Queensbury, a business she and her husband began in 1963. She was the firm's bookkeeper and was involved with her husband as a full partner in all of their business ventures. Until 1993, the Seelyes spent 17 winters in Englewood, Fla. She was a member of The Oneida Community Church in Queensbury as well as the Queen Anne Seniors in Fort Ann and the Seelye Genealogical Society. Evelyn enjoyed sewing, needlework and especially traveling. She had visited all 50 states as well as seven provinces of Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico. Along with her husband, Evelyn drove an 18 wheeler through 48 states in one and one half years. She enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. Survivors in addition to her husband of 57 years, Marshall B. Seelye of Kingsbury, include one son, Martin A. Seelye and his wife, Arlene, of Hudson Falls; one daughter, Judith L. Shaw and her husband, William, of Sunrise, Fla.; three grandchildren: Kimberly Lane and her husband, Chris, of Glens Falls, Cory Seelye-Dixon and her husband, Robert, of Glens Falls and Chad Seelye of Hudson Falls; one brother, Albert Washburn and his wife, Ruth, of South Glens Falls; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Oneida Community Church, Oneida Corners in Queensbury with pastor David McCane officiating. Burial will be private at Pine View Cemetery in the town of Queensbury. The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the Oneida Community Church, Oneida Corners, Queensbury, NY 12804.
