CORINTH -- Clara M. Brust, 87, of Maple Street, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital following a brief illness. Born on April 23, 1917, in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Liberski) Janoszewski. Mrs. Brust graduated from Schenectady High School. She married Russell G. Brust Sr. on Jan. 10, 1942, in Schenectady. The couple resided in Corinth for many years. Mrs. Brust was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Corinth for many years. She also was an active member and office holder of the Corinth Garden Club. Mrs. Brust was devoted to her family and to her church. Besides her husband and her parents, one son, Russell G. "Rusty" Brust Jr.; two sisters, Helen Mikucki and Marie Prusko; and one brother, Edmund Janoszewski, all died before her. Survivors include one granddaughter, Nicole Y. Brust of Corinth; one daughter-in-law, Gail Y. Brust of Corinth; one sister, Frances AhKao of Oriental, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. next Saturday, March 12, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 409 Palmer Ave., Corinth, with the Rev. Charles Gaffigan, pastor, officiating. A Rite of Committal will be held in the spring at Corinth Rural Cemetery. There are no public calling hours. The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 409 Palmer Ave., Corinth, NY 12822. Arrangements are under the direction of Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth. Published in the Post-Star on 3/5/2005. Jerome, David J. GREENWICH -- David J. Jerome, 86, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at his Carl Avenue home after a brief illness. Born Nov. 6, 1918, in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Dudley and Agnes Rosenhahn Jerome, and had been a resident of Greenwich for the past 25 years. David was a mechanical engineer and retired as senior field engineer for Westinghouse Electric in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines, serving his country in World War II. David was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Greenwich. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Grace Schumacher Jerome of Greenwich; his children: Kathleen Cunningham, David Jerome, Micky Jerome, Kevin Jerome, and their spouses; a brother, Richard Jerome; 10 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Monday, March 7, at St. Joseph's Church in Greenwich, with the Rev. Christopher Welch officiating. The Rite of Committal will be offered in the spring at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Greenwich. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros., Inc. Randall, 38, affectionately known as "JP", a longtime resident and employee of Ridin Hy Ranch Resort on Sherman Lake, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Waters, age 49, of Whitehall, formerly of Granville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2005, after a long illness at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Mass. Wohlfahrt, Emma Maria QUEENSBURY -- Emma Maria Wohlfahrt, 85, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born June 9, 1919, in Mannheim, Germany, she was the daughter of Friedrich Heinrich Roller and Emma Christina (Kohl) Roller. Mrs. Wohlfahrt was raised in Germany and married John "Hans" Wohlfahrt in May of 1939. They resided in Albany and later Chestertown, before settling permanently in Queensbury in 1959. Mrs. Wohlfahrt was employed at Glens Falls Hospital in food service as a dietary aide for many years. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, gardening, feeding the birds, picnics and most especially spending time with her family. Mrs. Wohlfahrt was predeceased by her husband, John "Hans" Wohlfahrt, who died Dec. 21, 2004. Survivors include one son, Werner William Wohlfahrt and his wife, Nancy, of Queensbury; three granddaughters, Kristy Marie, Leslie Noel, and Emily Beth Wohlfahrt; and one sister, Gertrude Fischer of Mannheim, Germany. Graveside services and the Rite of Committal will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at St. Mary's Cemetery, Main Street, South Glens Falls, with the Rev. James M. Mackey, pastor of St. Mary's Church of Glens Falls, officiating. The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Glens Falls Fire Department, 33 Luzerne Road, Queensbury, NY 12804 or Lake George Community Band, P.O.
